Just once can't someone admit they're guilty? I hate to be accused of prosecuting this guy outside of court, but damn this looks like a slam dunk.
I think it will be impossible for him to get a fair trial so I think we should move the trial. Definitely NOT to Florida, but over to Texas.

Are you telling me that as bad as our deficit is right now, the best we can even hope for is 3.7 trillion dollars in total reduction of 10 years?
Isn't that going to mean we still carry over a trillion dollars in deficit every year? What the f happened around here?

Seriously, why does a child need to learn about breastfeeding at all? They act as if this is some valuable learning experience that will somehow enhance the child and make them better prepared to deal with the situation later on in life.... Because the subject of breastfeeding is never going to come up again between the age of 5 and when you get pregnant I guess.

What's amazing here is that what the GOP has offered to the President actually IS a compromise. There are members of the Republican party who are saying they will not raise the debt limit no matter what- even if the increase is matched dollar for dollar with cuts and there are no tax increases even amongst the rich.
On the other end of the spectrum, you have members of the Democratic party who not only want higher taxes on the wealthy, but are advocating more government spending to try once again to stimulate the economy.

I think you are going to end up being disappointed there. The Republican congressmen actually signed a pledge to not raise taxes. Many of them were elected almost solely because they promised their base they wouldn't raise taxes- on anyone. To go against that would cost many of them their jobs. As it is, the Tea Party has little patience with Republican candidates who cross the line and are just about ready to tear the party apart, so politically they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by not sticking to their line. I am also a Republican and I do agree that this seems kind of crazy and I really wish it wasn't the case, but at the same time I believe that if you vote for someone under a certain promise they have an obligation to fulfill that promise. Personally, I have no problem with raising the progressive tax rate of post million dollar wages back to 39% where it was 11 years ago. That's all they have to do too and I believe they could get the President to throw in a lap dance on top.
As for who I vote for, I live in California, so it really doesn't matter. Obama will win my state with or without my vote.

We would hire the illegals to protect us from Arizona. They already don't like them so we could probably pay our soldiers 25 cents on the dollar.
