  1. Ya it's strange isn't it that the posters on here that are pro gun are people who either or all grew up with guns, hunt, ex military, present military, etc... and have posted many many links to back up their post. They did their background work instead of reading a news headline and then posting about it like they had a clue.

Most of the anti gun nuts on here wouldn't know what end of a gun the bullet comes out of if it bit them in their #######. I at least try to have clue on a topic before I try and debate it.

No they just all pain in the ####!!! Lol..

  2. Sorry just came back from dinner with the better half. To answer your questions:

You need a military ID to enter base, retired, active, reserve, spouse, dependent, or Government status.

You can't come in unless you have an ID, before 9/11 bases were a bit more laxed, I remember in Germany, the Germans would just come in whenever they felt like and tried to find soliders to buy them stuff from the base exchange and commissary. When Clinton bombed Somalia back in 1998, they added security to the gates(us with M16's) then about a year later they outsourced it to Securitas, a security detail made mostly of Germans and American Contractors. Some places here in the states were hit or miss when it came to coming on base without an ID, but then the towers fell, and that went away permanently. I was in DC when it happened, talk about crazy, you couldn't go to Burger King on base without being checked for ID.

Here we have a mix of civilian police and military that guard the gates, I do it once every three months for a couple hours in the morning. We don't have weapons, but the regular guards and police have taser guns, pistols, and some assault rifles inside the guard shack if they need them.

O yah I just woke up ... Btw I mention earlier not only military but also, trained sec guard, and law enforcement ( including those trained fire fighter) !!! Toinks you really need to read first!!!!!!

All I can say y'all pain in the ####!!!!!!! I'm not going to give up my best friend just bcoz of some psychopath running around in town and killing people....

  3. Most middle school and high school have a resource officer appointed to them.

Resource officer is a police officer who is on the campus all the time during the school is in session.

Until now most of the incidents were disgruntled students and not an outsider attacking a school.

Most colleges including community colleges they have their own police force on campus.

I am sure they would have never thought anything like this would happen at an elementry school.

Dude I am just suggesting. do we need to argue with this??? guess what u need to read it more of my post below before u commented :hehe: :hehe: look around on web about this yes they suggesting it.....

  4. You are wise beyond your years obviously... Keep enjoying living in your little Alaskan prison you have set up. My fiance did not give me the USD amount, she gave me it in pesos and it did not come to exactly 10k I rounded the numbers. I asked 4 times if her parents asked her to ask me for money before she finally said yes, but she also said she didn't want me to send any. If I would not have asked a question the story would have been I'm sad cuz my brother got into an accident today. It took me 3 days to find out how bad and then about 5 to get a photo because I was so interested in how the system works there and I thought there might be exaggeration on how bad it actually is. I sent a total of 4100 for Xmas, I was going to send more today but she told me she still has plenty of money and that it's pointless to send more. She was not giving me a sob story to get money, unless I ask she doesn't talk about it at all. If she ever asked me for money I would move on to the next, I just was surprised that some of these emergencies actually happen I assumed they were all fake.

it happened but i guess ur fiance knows that your not just looting the $$$$$ ....

  5. I was responding to your USMC joke, I am a vet myself and I am all about protection. I don't want to get rid of guns, I want the vetting process to be tougher, like getting a clearance in the military, they dig all in your background, make it the same for gun owners, it won't catch all, but it might save more people than we know.

see,, were in the same track... all i can say is I GOT YOUR COVER , MOVING

  6. Chinook worked as an RN at a tertiary public hospital in 'pinas. At her hospital, an emergency case like the brother's case would be treated first and then billed afterward.

Thats what they did to me... treated first , then billed was in processed while ur staying in the hospital.. of course u need to pay it before they release you to go home.

  7. Most on here will tell you, we don't want to get rid of people's guns, just want more strict vetting processes. That way guns don't end up in the wrong hands.

USMC is still DON by the way

Dude did u read my earlier post??? your missing something... hey i have AR and im against to get rid my favorite friend. i

most of them are civilians not vets ,, im just suggesting and saying ... i will rather to give my guns to unemployed vet, train security guard, retired law enforcement, that knows how to handle a crazy hostile to protect my kids while in school than let my kids die...

  8. ^^^ I agree, send money to the hospital...not the family.

Note: The hospital will treat all of the brother's injuries. The bill will come later. Then, if the bill isn't paid, the hospital might not let the brother leave. However, the family may be able to get the social worker to have the bill reduced to Php50,000.

correct, and if the injuries is totally damage like mine . they will tell u to stay at least a week or so in hospital,. in those time maybe his family can find another way to pay the bills. I stayed at hospital for 21 days...... i argued to my dr to let me out bcoz i cant take to stay in hospital anymore..

  9. Yeah I'll have my military ID and my license as well. Well I talked to OSI, since they called me yesterday asking where in the Philippines I was going. I told them Manila and they said if I was going near Cebu or south of Cebu that I need a special briefing. I'm sure it's because of the Mindanao area with the threat of terrorism. I'm going to Palawan and they said they would look into it and see if I need a special briefing. I looked up any info I could in regards to threat levels in the Philippines but couldn't find anything specific to Palawan. I know this coming month will have a lot of Americans traveling to the Philippines so I need to be careful regardless, but hopefully Palawan isn't a dangerous place to go. I'm going to Puerto Princesa by the way.

Palawan is not dangerous but theres few places that you cant go.. i dont want to scare you but your one of us and im from pinas also. im sorry i cant find the list of places that u can go in philippines ( my CO brief me this few months ago coz i planning to visit philippines).. civilian americans has different treated than military bcoz we need to get protected spc if ur active .. yall be fine as long u will not go south and dont tell every one that ur us military .. just pretend ur just normal civilian american less threat. what else, quezon ,aurora, has few town that u cant stay also.

  10. It sounds good on paper, but in most cases, killing someone isn't as glam as they make it out to be in the movies. In all of the cases when I had live ammo on me and a loaded weapon, you just pray you don't have to shoot someone. But if this would happen now, the training takes over and you just take out the threat. I still remember how to do S.P.O.R.T.S and that are over 15 years ago.

Its not glam but if one psychopath will pointed a gun in ur face or to your kid r u not going to react?? Civilian might just cry, veterans will say dude ive been train to face a crazy like you... spc, USMC (crazy jarhead asses joke   )

SPORTS is the one thing you shouldn't forget , sports will save my ####.....

Im not arguing its just a opinion... were all veterans and i dont like the guns restriction coz i owned weapons also.....
