Yes the wife can return to the U.S. after a final divorce is granted. Your friend can file for and get a divorce in the U.S., he should be advised that getting a divorce in the Philippines isn't going to happen.
Sir, R u still in USMC?? i need to ask something about the restriction of the tattoo. im thinking to transfer to MC.

ive been around here for 3 years and your the only person telling the others to put their timeline.. its their choice not to put their timeline. if they ask something just answer it.. you dont need to input the timeline in every single person here, it sounds your desperate to know their life and you sound like a FBI timeline police.. im just saying dude..

To the left in any of your postings you will see "timeline", click on it, then near the top of the page near your profile picture you will see where your can edit/add an entry for your timeline.
Also for a lot of your questions on the I-129F process read the GUIDES, the link is at the top of every page. The K-1 process is listed on that page.
hank , r u the timeline police here??

Funny topic,
Salad by itself is ok for dinner as long it's huge and has a lot of pork, chicken, or shrimp on it. Cold left over french toast is a nice desert too. I guess the OP is trying to make sure his wife keeps her pre marriage figure.
Speaking of that, will anyone make a new years resolution to drop some pounds? We are going to try.
I still not going to get full on a leaves with shrimp or pork .. Ill probably eat it but after an hour or 2 I'll be like I'm hungry I need real food.. Lol
Lol drop some pounds hahaha!!!! I'm pregnant right now and weight 120lbs >.> give me ur fats lol

There must be more to this as residing outside the US for more than 180 days in any 365 days period will cause the CBP to examine this behavior more closely. You cannot just pop into the US at the 5 month 28 day mark, stay for a couple of weeks and then leave again for another 5+ months. If you can show you have not abandoned your permenant residency, you can do this. The key is making sure you continue to file taxes and have other ties to the US like family. Once you hit the 180 day point, CBP can refuse your re-entry if they can prove you have abandoned your LPR status--this includes several short trips of less than 6 months, but the time outside the US is more than 6 months in any consective 1 year period. If you stay out for more than one year without a re-entry permit, kiss your GC good-bye.
OP: If your friend's wife has left the country and it has been awhile, file for divorce and let her deal with the CBP when she decides to re-enter the US. Who knows, she may not know about the rules on keeping her GC and may loose her LPR status. Your friend is still on the hook for the I-864 until she meets the requirements, but that is only if she applies and is granted any means tested benefit. Have your friend divorce and move on with his life. Do not let her immigration status affect his decisions. The only thing he can do is document her behavior and report it to the USCIS and let them deal with her.
Good luck,
Dave
Hey I'm just saying what I know .. Idk what they doing .. I ask the mother she said they stayed at Guam for a month or so then go back to pinas .. Idk about the tax and everything.. All I know they been told that they need to re-entry to any land in us every 5 or 6' months so they won't loose the gc.

Ask your family readiness about that for sure they have an answer for you.

About the bah , I'm not quiet sure if u can collect bah right away after marriage bcoz I have some friends get married and didn't collected bah till later on. They said according to the rules of bah you need to be at least living together as married couple with in 6 months at the same house before they granted you that. I'm not sure but that's what they told them most of them .
And yes marriage cert. from other country is acceptable in deers.
-
When you arrive in the Philippines, show proof you were once a Philippines citizen. An expired Filipino passport is sufficient.
Okay thanks ..
-
I told you just go to us embassy and get legal capacity and that's it. Btw bring your orig marriage cert when u come home so you can file it to deers. Then try to expedite the marriage contract to file it to nso coz they said it will take 3-6 months to file it if you didn't process it in your own.. When I get married I came back to municipal after a week and I'm the one brought the cert to nso.. Then I get mine after a month .

There's no divorce in Philippines!!!!!!! He can file an annulment . If she will exit Philippines every 6
Months ( stay at any land in the USA) and go back to Philippines it won't hurt her gc but it will took forever for her to get citizenship ... This is base on my nephews mom . They doing this in the pass 2 years now..
