you should wait a few months then apply under 5 years rules. I know someone who had a similar problem so he just applied again and got his citizenship .

I finally received the oath ceremony letter and so happy to share that with you guys .
it will be this coming Friday may 11th at 11:00 am in Philadelphia .
good luck to every one who is waiting for this  long process to end positively .

i just got an email and a text from uscis , so I checked my case status :
 
Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled
We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number NBC*00******* with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date. Please follow the instructions in the notice. 
 
After being under stress for a few weeks .
thank you very much for helping me . I will keep you updated about the next and last step .

Yes, I even thought about what you told me previously , the hardest part is over , as soon as I get the letter in my mail box, I’ll run to the uscis building and hand it to the IO .

Just received the letter for Oath Ceremony for March 20th. I think I finally finish my journey to become a citizen of this great country. 
Guys, hope you all will finish the journey soon.

why you can not travel and come back ? Are you in line for interview ?

We have no choice but to wait . 
I do not think that there is a difference between NBC and IOE to make some things faster then others , I think it depends on the location with the number of applications .
of course , there is a delay because if the system but what can we do ? 
I had my fingerprint done today , it was empty so I did not wait at all . They told me that they are late for the applications so I won't be stressed and I live my life as usual and try to be positive .
do not give up, you won't make things move faster

I have my fingerprint this coming Wednesday  then I'll be waiting like hundreds of people 🤔

Do not worry about it ! You are good to go for interview .
let me know please when you get the letter or email for the interview .
mine, I had it by email , they sent me the date and the list of the documents I had to bring with me ( like the medical ones ) .
I guess you will have the same thing as well

You are not alone, try to do your best and use every document to help you in your case. Just be honest at the time of your interview. Some people get their visa after overstaying , depends how long, depends on every one's situation. The hardship letter is not impossible in your case but you can not know that before your interview at the embassy.
No stress !!!

CR-1 or Aos Interview ? If really a CR-1 visa at the embassy in your home country, then if you overstay long enough to incur a ban, you will be denied.
