After sending in my RFE a month ago it would make me feel alot better if i just knew they have received it! I sent a thick batch of evidence in response but i forgot to secure it all together so its all just loose I have read about them losing stuff before!! Thanks

Hi,

As long as you have sent the package with RFE original letter or at least copy of it, you should be fine. I hope you sent via express to make sure you get delivery confirmation, in case something happens you have proof that they infact did get the documents. Rest is up to them.

Yes USCIS some how love ACCO fastener.

Well If we have to give them document, plus we punched them as well for them, i think we should then process our cases as well.

I was trying to be sarcastic. The point is even if you give them in bindid form if they are careless or using your documents as coffee or donut coasters or good knows what else.

If you didn't do the usps delivery confirmation or usps express mail, then please make an infopass and ask the IO there whether they received your documents or not.

I do believe VSC will wrap up the remaining cases as they can't leave them like that. I think those who applied at VSC and didn't get approved in 4 months or so might have to wait for

full 6 months before they hear anything. Once 6 months are up then come in the senator/congressperson.

The wait and uncertainty is the bad part of this process other than that I don't see any other problem.

I emailed the senator of my states yesterday about my case and hopefully do something.

I think if you contact them now, they will tell you to wait till it's out of 6 months time frame. So you have 3 more weeks to go. So probably in the 1st of August, you can contact your senator and talk to their Immigration Expert and they will send a info release form (or I think you can download it from their website, if they have one). Once you send it they will say they will get back to you in couple of days.

if they don't call them again.

I emailed them yesterday and i'm waiting now for their response .

I emailed them early just to be ready in case I don't receive my approval in time.

I just checked the website of my senator and i found the form . i will print it and fill it out and have it ready in case I don't receive my approval.

Nothing so far. I think the approval and GC will come when we least expect it to come or would have almost forgot to check the mail, or go to mail box thinking it wont be there but it will be there.

So waiting .......

I have been checking my wife's status from time to time online, but it was never touched since her biometric appointment. I have't check the last 2 or 3 days, but to my suprise I got the email "CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED"

What a great suprise. I wish you all a quick journey thru the CRIS system!!!

My old one expired July 3! (yes I have a 1 yr extension letter)

I think this is a pretty decent wait period considering all the issues they had with the actual physical card production

Approved-06/09/09 had an infopass on 06/10/09 to find out if they recieved my RFE; found out I was approved then got stamp due to card production delay

I had a letter saying I was approved dated May 25th, 2 card production emails dated June 25 & 26, and an approval email last week, and I received my card on Tuesday. So you may also get further emails, but if you have time, I don't think it would hurt to call them about it.

Today I got the message that they ordered my card and I should receive in 30 days.

That was the only update after my biometrics...

I didnt even get an approval email, it was straight to the card being ordered!!!

I am really thankful dear for the kind wishes and gesture . I am waiting anxiously to see what happens. Now VSC has moved to March which is good but don't know what's going on with Jan and Feb remaining cases.
