when I sent the affidavit in march I just sent the 2006/07/2008 taxes... of the joint sponsor... that was all at that moment...

Have you been requested for the 2009 taxes?

I got my 2009 transcript, but I only sent NVC copies of my 1040 because I had just filed and wasn't sure if I could get a transcript. I want to be sure I have everything at his interview so I got the transcript.

Strange thing is, when I emailed the embassy to ask what we needed to bring, they responded "his medical exam and passport." We all know we need relationship evidence and (I thought) originals of some documents again. So Who Knows?! I am still taking a suitcase full!

Congrats! I knew everything would go smoothly.

Not yet for us unfortunately. They need the police clearance from Vietnam which we were unable to get and I don't know what we'll do now. At least they kept his passport...

My husband just got a new police certificate for our interview next month. According to what I asked the embassy about what we should bring, we only need his med exam and his passport. But I am not taking any chances!

Congratulation for couple that get date interview in Agost.

I have a question: How I get information on: when our packet is will send to embassy?

Our case was closed June 29 and NVC give information on my interview is for September but they dont say date exactly. Thank so much and bless

I called and called and called the AVR hoping to hear that our case had been sent on to Jordan.

I emailed the embassy who told me they did not have anything for August yet.

And FINALLY... on the 22nd, the AVR changed to say it was sent on the 21st. It was almost a month after we got the date.

I am only guessing, but I think they won't mail the September interviews out to the embassies until mid August.

OK got it. i will call monday. and as for the ds-230? NO my wife will mail police certificate to me on monday and i will receive it end of next week.. and after i get it i will mail it to NVC the next day... and IF everything is fine i guess i'l be done with NVC atleast on my part. right?

then i'l wait for SIF and interview date... God willing.

I hope you don't have to wait as long as we did to find out a date after SIF/CC. It was May 11 til June 28 to get our Aug 24 interview. Jordan is really busy!

the message in AVR is... the NVC is awaiting biographic forms from Petitioner.

after doing some search i found out that this message means that NVC is asking to submit ds-230 with required civil documents.

BUT.. does this mean that my I 864 was accepted by NVC.. because as far as i understand the I 864 process comes BEFORE ds-230 NO?????

If not then why they asking me to submit ds-230 ? because according to their system i 864 is not there? is it possible???? can NVC ask for ds-230 BEFORE AOS I 864?????

All I can tell you is that the AVR never said our I864 was accepted. It changed to the message about waiting biographic forms.

I spoke with an operator at that point who told me the I864 was accepted.

Not sure I've helped much, but maybe this will ease your mind a little!

Wanted to tell everyone here that NVC FINALLY sent our case on to Jordan yesterday for our interview on Aug 24. Seems s little slow... but so is the whole process! :dance:

Tried calling to NVC, It's not working for me......I tried so many times.......plz confirm if this is right or wrong ?

I just called and I got the AVR on my first call. Not sure where the trouble is.

What happened to NVC phone no. It's not working since yesterday. I have tried a lot, it gives engage tone. (I know that NVC is busy and we have to try so many times to get through engage tone, but this is different, as soon as you dial phone, it gives up)

I called last night with no problems. I just wanted to see if our case had been sent to the embassy yet. I didn't try to speak to an operator, but no problems with the AVR!

I have been calling to check if our package has left too. We were scheduled on June 28 for Aug 24, and STILL no AVR update. It still says "your case was completed on May 11 blah blah blah."

I haven't waited for an operator yet to ask. Think I may do that later this week.

I learned the same thing from NVC operator. She indicated that Islamabad slots were already filled for August interviews. NVC will schedule and let me know after August 15 if the interview is scheduled for the month of September. Otherwise they will let me know after September 15 if the interview is scheduled for the month of October, and so on

Why can’t they schedule now for September slots for those whose applications are complete. I do not understand.

I don't know if this is true everywhere, but some interviews are scheduled the last week of the month. Ours came June 28 for Aug 24. Strange thing about that end-of-month scheduling, NVC doesn't seem to want to tell anyone it happens. But when I spoke with 6 or 7 other couples who went through Jordan, they ALL got dates the last week of the month!

I would check with others in your country and see when they received dates!

There aren't many of us here.... come on NVC!

the AVR should update after it arrives at the embassy, i think. (my AVR only updated after it arrived, not when sent)

The AVR still just says CC May 11... blah blah blah... so I am checking every day.

I couldn't really move the date up because of work (2 jobs) and I needed time to get some things ready, too. July would have been great and we could have been ready, but in ways this is better (and I saved $600 on my ticket over July... LOL). And I will still be here for my daughter's 18th birthday (the day before I leave). But I will miss my son's 21st because it's 2 days before the interview.

You can check it through DHL track by number.when your consulate will receive your packet they will send snail mail with the checklist of required documents and your husband needs to carry those docs during his interview:)

I can't believe that email reply from them. I know we need our relationship evidence and the passport photos and original documents because I have the letter from NVC.

This whole process is going to make me crazy! LOL!

I emailed the emabassy to see if our case was there yet, if we should expect anything else from them, and ask for a checklist.

This was the reply:

Dear Madam:

Unfortunately, files for August are not in Amman yet.

Your husband needs to bring his passport and the medical exams, no further correspondence will be send to him

I am surprised this is all they are telling us to bring. Nothing about proof of relationship, passport type fotos, updated forms or anything.

It's normal Ally. It took them a while to forward my case to the embassy. My interview was scheduled on the 15th of June and the case wasn't forwarded until the 28th or so.

That makes me feel a little less worried about it. And there was a holiday in there too.

This has just been so stressful.... I just want it all over and done!

Monday will make 2 weeks since we got the email with our interview date.

There is still no AVR update that our case has been forwarded on to Jordan... it still just says CC on May 11.

Is this normal? Wondering if I should speak to an operator and make sure everything is ok!
