My husband was first applying for a K1. His interview didn't go well either and it was returned to USCIS in Sept.

I went to Jordan and married him in October.

Now we are waiting our CR1 interview date. And I WILL go with him this time!

So Monday is my birthday. And I have only one wish... a July interview!

After reading a few things on here, I think I want to be prepared with my 2009 tax transcripts instead of just the copies of everything I sent to NVC. I know I had the number to get them, but I can't find it now.

Could someone please post the number to call for tax transcripts or a link if I can do it online?

Sorry Ally, hang in there. I'm sure you'll get a date soon. Have you seen any similar cases for Jordan to see the usual wait time for an interview?

Not many Jordan cases on here. But the one I found recently got the date on May 1 for June 24.

At THAT rate, I may not be making a trip til AUGUST!

But it did sound like the date came the last week of the month... so it gives me a little hope!

I AM going with my husband in Jordan.

We attempted a K1 that was returned to USCIS by the embassy in September. So I went to Jordan and we married Oct 6 and started the CR1.

I think we would have gotten the K1 if I had been with him.

No way I would miss this!

Still no date... per the grouchy NVC operator I spoke with!

Called NVC.... still no date.

I couldn't help myself... I called to see if we had a date yet. Of course we don't. And the operator wasn't very nice! But at least she answered ONE question... interview dates will be given the week of the 7th. The last time I asked the operator wasn't sure if it would be the week of the 7th or 14th.

So unless a miracle happens and we get a date tonight or tomorrow, guess it will be a week of NO news and then praying we get that date!

Still 2 days left to pray we get an interview date before May ends!

But I want to check in here too because I don't think it's gonna happen!

I was just wondering when do we get a CASE COMPLETE? Do i call the NVC or does the AVR change to case complete?

When do i know my stuff is on the way to the consulate in Frankfurt?

Where can i find the medical requirements and everything again? I have found the list for the docs but i was going to get blood test and make sure my vaccinations are up to date at my Dr. here as i can get it all done for free before i go pay for my medical and find out my vaccinations arent up to date or something.

I called NVC right after I got SIF because I wanted to hear a human say "case complete".

It took a few days for the AVR to update.

And from what I have read here, your packet doesn't go to the embassy until the interview date is given.

alright so finally some nice operator transferred me to the supervisor by asking only once. unfortunately, supervisor wasn't able to help me and she told me exactly what the operator said "wait for 10-15 days, we can't tell u anything until the re-review happens on birth cert"......arghh i thought she would b able to help me. so now i should wait and watch what decision they make on it. i haven't received the mail from my husband so in meantime they'll hopefully b done with reviewing.

Stay on them... keep calling!

I called every other day until they finally finished our papers!

Now if we could just get an interview date....

Do you think sending the originals again might help or should I just wait until the review is complete?

I am not sure on this one. I spoke to 3 different operators before I found out exactly what they needed from us. The first told me my hubby's birth cert was wrong. The next said no it was the marriage cert, but wasn't sure what the problem was. Finally the 3rd said they needed the original of our muslim marriage cert or contract as most call it.

I went immediately to UPS and sent the original (although I didn't want to because I can't get a replacement). I used the cover sheet for the DS230 and they received it ok, but it still took a little time that we hated to lose!

Maybe you could call back and ask another operator. If you sent originals to begin with, they should be able to work this out for you... but who knows! But I would make sure about which documents they need before I sent anything.

Just called NVC and got an RFE message from AVR for original marriage and birth certificate although

I sent the originals. I talked to an operator and she told me that she will request a supervisor review which might take 10-15 business days.

Sorry to hear about this. It seems they are doing a supervisor review on almost everyone who calls in about their RFE. It happened to us, too. And it took about 14 days! Frustrating!

I'm hoping for today. They started reviewing my first package on the 12th and they finished the review on the 19th.

They started the review of my second package on the 19th... I hope they will take only a week this time as well.
