    yeah, same here. immigration gives me headaches. only time i haven't had them lately is when i do not speak of it. but unfortunately, i am constantly thinking about it. husband tells me i think too much, and tries to change the conversation :wub:

    Tell me, why is it that the guys are the ones that are generally more relaxed about all this? I sent him the DS-230 package minus photos becaue he said he still had some US-style passport photos of me...now he says he doesn't, but hey, it's no big deal just go take some more and send them when you have...if it were that easy to take US-style photos here I would have done!!

    Well, I am a dude and I am totally obsessed. But then I tend to obsess.....

    Okay, I'm a dork. Napoli IS Naples!

    Forget using FF miles to go to the interview w/my hubby. They're all sold out. This trip will be expensive! :angry:

    Okay, so there is one reason to look forward to a January appt... I have been in a funk all day... and all I really wanted was to be happy for all y'all.... but I just can't do it... Sorry.

    I just checked the DHL website, and 58 packages went out from the NVC today. One was to Naples-could that be mine????? Have any of you sign-on failures checked it?

    How do you check the DHL website?

    Good question-because it was a fluke it even worked. You go to dhl.com, track by reference, and put in:

    12 NOV 2009A

    and zip of 03801

    It worked once, and now it won't. I know the above is correct because I wrote it down! It's very frustrating that it won't work now for me. I can't remember what I put for dates besides today's date.

    Assuming something is just temporarily wonky with DHL's data, where did you get the data items to input??

    I don't think that it's selfish at all!!! Glad to have the company!! You know MISERY loves company!!! :blush:

    Have a safe and fun trip...if I had the money or FF miles I'd be heading to Egypt even for just a week!!! Heck, I would go just for a long weekend if it didn't cost so dang much :huh:

    Hey guys just checking in :star: no word from CSC on my I-129F yet and no touches on my I-130 but by to surprise i am not feeling any worse than i was before :whistle::whistle: i think i login now expecting to see no change and it no longer surprises me when it shows "NOTHING" :lol:

    You have just been unfortunate and missed out on their little period of activity. For whatever reason they have slowed down again but it won't last forever and they will be back to approving soon. You'll get there and when you do we'll all have a party! :yes:

    This is exactly what I have been thinking. And, having been just days before MsSheka, I can't help but think that "There but for the grace of God go I."

    Hang in there MsSheka. We have the bubbly on ice all ready to go :)

    I just called and got the "reviewed your packet and found it incomplete, mailed letter 11/5" message too. From what I have read here, I think it means we entered it into the system and this goofy message comes up that may or may not mean anything whatsoever....

    I received an email with a checklist reflecting what was missing. Call NVC, because I don't remember hearing that type of message.

    Just got off the phone with customer service. They said that the message is just goofy. What it means is that my AOS has been accepted and they are waiting for the 230. :)

    when did you send off your package Mark?

    The 230? I FedEx'ed 11/2 and J.Desmond signed for it on 11/3 (Tuesday).

    Is everyone planning to attend the interview with thier spouse? As much as I would love to see London with David, I am not sure we can afford for both of us to make the journey. I am concerned that it will not go as smoothly if we are not both there and of course I want to be there for moral support. So I am curious to hear how everyone else is handling it as we are getting closer to the end of this process. :blink:

    Yeah. I pop in once in a while. I mostly lurk. I am still totally immersed in my project and will probably be so through the rest of the year.... Starting to get partially finished, enough for testers to start in. Then there will be mopping up, bugs to fix, enhancements, etc, etc. And there are a couple of other related applications that will need to be re-done, tested, enhanced, etc, etc, etc. Needless to say, except for my week in Peru, I have been putting in 60+ hour weeks since the beginning of September. Now I have loads of comp time to take this month (or else, says my boss). Probably best that way, cause my apartment is looking pretty interesting these days :)

    J. Desmond signed for my FedEx'ed DS-230 packet this morning at 9:46... Wonder how long before he/she opens it??

    [sooo when you call the AVR.. how many times do you have to press 2 for no on the first 3 letters of your NVC case???

    I have to press 4 times before I find my first 3 letters!!!!

    I still use my USCIS receipt number for the NVC line even though NVC assigned their own case number. It's easier than waiting through the list :yes:

    I am lucky that LMA is first on the list for my 3 digits :)

    I just checked NVC again. My IV is still not showing as paid even though it definitely is paid. I hope it shows in the morning.

    I'm having a rough night and with time change I can't even call or email him. :blush:

    How did you get so lucky to get them to start reviewing your 230 two days after the infamous Desmond signed for it??!!!

    Maybe it's all about the Benjamins, Finn ;)
