I learned my interview date around August 21.....my wife just got packet 3 a few days ago from Amman which probably has the date on it as well. If you want it sooner then email them. They don't bite I promise. Not sure if Hani emailed them, but I spoon fed him what to do He just disappears on me from time to time...oh well...I am here for him when he needs the help.

now that I think about it...he might have just learned his date within the past few days as the interview date is only two days after mine. If you wait it out, you'll find out mid October at the earliest....I don't think you can wait the long to find out....

Email Amman a few days after the DHL gets there.

K3 is moving in lightning speed! I learned today of the sept 8th approval. Called NVC tonight with the wac k3 number and she said it was received into NVC but not left for the embassy. She did give me the AMM number!

I feel knowing an interview date is soooo close now. What ya think lulu? End of November for ibrahim's interview?

I just got back from an executor hearing... My sister was killed on easter this year and we are filing a wrongful death suit. So my dad, who has not been heard from in years, decides that money is involved so he wants to contest my mom being the executor. they are also criminally charging they guy who killed my sister and that court date is next week. I am a little stressed out with all this going on. But I made it on here today, at least for a few minutes..

After case complete, you need to wait for an interview to be set up for you by the NVC. For appointment consulates only after the interview date is given is the paperwork petitioned (unless of course there a special circumstances, such as an expedite granted). You will probably be at NVC until at least next month until the appointments are once again scheduled.

I am thug though. LOL.

Call the NVC and see if they gave you a AMM case number for the 129. Then find out when it was forwarded to Amman. I might go to NVC today! Check with them Monday afternoon as well. The we can track the DHL to Amman...then you email AMM to ask if they have assigned interview date.

Fantastic news jJ!!! That is great. I am SO happy for you guys. You should call NVC next week to find out when it get there and is forwarded to AMM. I doesn't stay at NVC for long...1-3 days. Get your case number only from an operator...the AVR doesn't update for 129s. Then we can track DHL to see when it gets to AMM and then you can email them to ask about the interview date. In 14 days you will have your interview date. ISA December, but we'll take November, right?!??!?!?

The CR1's I don't have any estimate on. I thought they were running that 2-3 months. I wonder who is getting CR1 interview in Amman cause no one on VJ has gotten one...since what, June. That is crazy.

What triggers the ability to pay the $400? The ds3032 getting to nvc or the I864? Will that show up on the same payment page as the $70?

jJ, check the USCIS site for the darned K3. You could still get Dec. if that thing gets approved. I say ISA next week it will be and then onto AMM!!! Have faith my friend!

The 400 is driven off the DS3032 being in the system...and after the 400 is received then you can send in the DS230. The 70 and the AOS go together only....and that subprocess ends when they accept the AOS. Did they receive that yet for you?

a f-16 in ground attack can be taken down with a sa-7. throw a few of those up in the air and pilots will be too busy ducking and weaving to do anything.

Oops your right, it's F15's they have an abundance of. But still you have to give it to them, they rarely lose any planes and they down and destroy many just sitting on the ground before they are used against them. Those outdated MIGs don't have a snowballs chance in he!!. The sa-7 is superior against low-flying planes and helicoptors. The fighter jets would be difficult to bring down...otherwise I think we would have seen more downed in Beruit or in Israeli/arab conflicts in the 1980s.

Someone else mentioned Syria being a safe place....sure...but talk of the governement or leadership is a no no...you simply disappear...vanish in thin air.

The Syrians or the Lebanese don't have anything that can take down the Israeli planes. The Israeli airforce breaks the sound barrier regularly over Leb and ocassionally over Syria...with complete lack of fear. Jordan has a peace treaty with the Israelis, so they most likely won't violate that airspace.

I think the lobby is still there on the sidelies and we will see them come January.

We are still waiting to hear about the CR1/IR1 interview scheduling. I called tonight to check on it and they are still doing the scheduling for October.....I was told to call again next Friday....when they expect all slots to be full. Don't forget AMM also processes for Iraq as well and those slots fill up quickly.
