It says if the answer is none or N/a, leave it blank. And now, why are they sending checklists for us to put n/a?

I did not put middle name of my sister in theds260. I called if they an edit it, they said they can't until it is being reviewed and I will get an email for it. So it means I know I have a checklist and will still have to wait 30 business days while I'm waiting for 30 business days for them to tell me that I made a mistake.

The one that we have to bring to an interview is for not having N/A put in all fields where applicable...

I anxious about on sending scanned documents as I already sent the originals and don't have copies of them to be scanned.

I filled out the ds260 yesterday and sent by mail the docs. No need to scan and email it to them.

I filled up the ds260 online and operator said that documents still needed to be mailed and not scanned. After I have done the ds260, it also says there that when NVC received your documents, then they will review the ds260.

Do we send AOS via email? That is what I read in the instructions. Read below

Complete an I-864 (and possibly an I-864A) on your computer using CAPITAL letters.

Note: you need form I-864P to complete the I-864

Review the Form I-864 Checklist (and possibly the Joint Sponsors Checklist and the Household Members Checklist)

Print the completed form(s), and

Attach the bar code sheet and mail them to the NVC unless you have joined the E-Mail Electronic Processing program, then

Scan the I-864 to Portable Document Format (PDF) and send it as an e-mail attachment to NVCElectronic@state.gov. Sending physical documents to the NVC will delay the processing of your case. When sending completed forms to the NVC do not include instruction pages or any other sheets which do not carry information you entered while completing the form.

She only have filed tax in 2011 and 2012 because she arrived in the US in Oct. 2010 and did not work yet unil the year ended . So should I just put 0 in year 2010? Will I get an rfe for this? What does it means? Visa bulletine August status is C. Does it mean it is current? And how long is the time allowed for us to process the paperwork? Because my mom is planning to submit AOS in March once her IRS comes for 2013 since she has more income and will be able to qualify to support my sister to come over.

As I am looking at the my sisters birth certificate,the name of my mother written is her married name whisch should be her maiden name. In form ds230, it asks for mothers maiden name, so it will not have the same name in my sisters birth certificate. What can we do?

I would say the husband still counts, unles they are legally separated, as she (presumably) would financially support him if something happened, may send money to him etc.

Am I able to file my tax return with my husband if he has only an ITIN? We are waiting on his GC to come in the mail within the next 8 weeks. Should I wait for it to come, then file for a SSN and then do the taxes or will it matter?
