Hello! Is any one here had finished their fingerprinting for adjustment of status? I would like to ask if its ok to bring my philippine passport in my appointment? I have no any Id here in US, just my phil passport with my visa attached on it, all of my ID are phil Id. It was indicate in my appointment that need Identification and Appointment letter, Is that all? Do I need to show some other documents in my biometrics appointment? Please give me some list so I can bring with me. For those who finished their fingerprinting in applying for adjustment of status. Tomorrow is my fingerprinting appointment September 12, 2008 at 3pm in Atlanta. Please response immediately. I surely appreciate any response of you all here. Thanks and God bless(",))

Yea your passport is ok plus a marriage certificate. It's ok for your husband to accompany you.

If I downloaded the form from the USCIS website and the exp date is 8/31/08 nd the rev date is 5/2708, will this be fine?

Yea that version is ok i think. Thats the one I sent but I sent it on August 15. Maybe you should call Uscis to find out whether you could use that form to be on the safe side.

We received the NOA for the AOS packet that we sent. Will there be a separate one for the I-765 or does the approval cover all the forms that was in the packet?

Its not an aproval. You will rec a separate one for every other form filed. You can't go according to the date on the top of the form though. You have to go according to the revised date at the bottom. My I 765 form said exp 08/31/08 and it was rejected because of the revised date which was 04/08/08. Anyway an updated version was sent to me with the rejection notice, so i completed it and all is going on really good.

My wife and I are trying to fill out the I-485 form and find that there is a section called "Address - C/O" right after the name?

What is the required information for that section? I bet it's something really obvious...

Our AOS has been pending since nov 2006. We got interviewed in feb 07.. interviewer said she would consult with supervisor and we would receive a reply within 4 weeks.. well those 4 weeks never came.. at that time, we didn't have alot of evidence as well since my husband had recently arrived in US..

1. We received another interview letter.. not a I-797 from a service center or anything but an interview letter from the local office.. has this happened to someone before.

we are taking this evidence with us tomorrow:

1. Lease document with both our names.

2. registration of our car with both our names on it.

3. 6 months bank statements with both our names on it.

4. phone bill with hubby's name.. satellite tv bill with my name.. both at same address.

5. Last years joint tax return..

5. credit cards..

6. debit cards..

7. honeymoon trip confirmation emails.. and e ticket..

8. lots of pictures..

This is in addition to all the copies including birth certificates.. marriage certificate.. copy of i-864.. w-2s, original passports for both, all of which we already submitted.

is that enough or are we missing something. Interview is at Santa Ana, CA

Any reply would be really appreciated.. any last minute tips.. its 2:30 in the morning.. we just can't sleep..

I think you are more than ready. My friend only had a few few bills in their name, bank statement and two photos. He spent less thean five mins in there. Relax baby. Just be calm tomorrow. Good luck!!!

AOS but i just gor this pink notice for Request for intail evidence cause my wife can t bit the 125%of poverty line, that s mean i need a co sponsor right ? so her dad accept to be a co sponsor and he need to file the I-864 my question is what he need to send with the I 864 for more information he s employee

I can't check status online for my I-485. It is keep saying that Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. I am sure I put right number. My other forms(I-130 and I-765) are showing since Aug 18.

Also, I had my biometrics done 2 weeks ago, but there is no touch up on my I-765. Everyone here seems to get touch up next day after biometrics.

Is anyone else there have a similar situation? I am getting nervous.

You have company. Can't check my I 485 or I 765 status online. Called USCIS and my call was directed to an officer, he said tha t he will put a request for it to be entered into the system but its been a week now and nothing yet.
