  1. Just to clarify,

my husband did not walk in the door and into a high paying job, he literally got hired two days before I had my baby......it WAS a very scary and stressful year of looking for work for him, but ANDREA the point I was making was that you should do what you feel is right for oyu and your husband.

I would do it again in a heartbeat, because I love my baby that much!

    Good luck

  2. Don't let it get you down, everyone has their own opinions, follow your heart and do what's right for your husband and you, NOBODY else.

My husband had just arrived in the US when I got pregnant and he didn't have a job then, but he ended up getting one and it all worked out.....in the meantime, I continued to work and had good helath insurance etc...

I wouldn't trade my beautiful daughter for ANY amount of money in the world

  3. Cygnet,

I was surprised, to say the least, it took me ALOT longer to get pregnant with my sons when I was 25 and 30 years old....of course my husband attributes it to his "manliness" Lol :innocent:

I see more and more "mature" moms......so it's definitely possible! Good luck....if you go to babycenter.com, they have a "pregnant over 35" forum, to inspire you!!!

  4. Go for it......my husband and I had our daughter on August 9th and she is a blessing!

It only took me ONE cycle to get pregnant and I was 39 years old....so that's pretty darned amazing......

I hope it works out for you....GOOD LUCK!

  5. Good luck Reinhard and Nani!!!

Post when you can. I had a C-section this time too, it wasn't too bad...lot's of hospital TLC time!

Can't wait to see a picture!

  6. Hi Jill.......

    I was actually on insulin......

mixed dose in the morning log and short acting, then short acting before dinner and then long-lasting before bed.

I was able to keep my sugars in Mostly under control through diet and the insulin......with a few highs every week, but mostly on target.

There is a pregnant with diabetes board on babycenter....the women are mostly gestational diabetes but there are also type 1 and type 2 diabetics who pos there as well.

    I'm on there as Kiki2466
