    Hi,

    Thanks everyone for your help from time to time. I am especially thankful to VJ guide and Lingche’s NVC shortcut, James’s shortcut and Loto’s guide for useful information. I did not use my own created bar codes to send documents as NVC never gave me chance to use it but in fact, these shortcuts helped me to follow the steps and collecting the required documents in time. Honestly, my NVC journey never been completed in such a short time without this.

    On I864 Form, i am not sure what to put for question #24 E

    "The person listed above, ----------------- Does not need to complete Form I-864A because he/she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents."

    I am only doing this affidavit application for my spouse, so my question is should i be putting her name or leave that field blank? And also, i wont be using any one else's income.

    We will soon file I-751 to remove the conditional residence on Green Card, but I and my wife want to go to S.Korea to have a child there. What happends to my son and my wife? Will my son receive the citizenship even though he is born outside the USA? I know we can just stay in the USA and have a child here, but we really want to go to S.Korea where we have cousins and families to celebrate the birth of our child. Thanks.

    DS 3032

    Hi there,

    I read in a post that we have to mail DS3032 in addition to sending it my email.

    can we send scanned copy of DS3032 by mail or we have to ask the beneficiary to send the original in mail to us and then we send it to NVC?

    As soon as you know your NVC case #, ask beneficiary to send e-mail for DS-3032 to NVC.

    In my opinion, once they accept e-mail regarding DS-3032, you do not need to send it by regular mail.

    it's another morning..

    Ohh, this is me... I shouted having a glance on my snap in today's news paper.

    But what the HELL it is doing in the death column??

    Strange...

    One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a severe pain in my chest, but I don't remember anything after that, I think I had a sound sleep.

    Its morning now, ohh..... It's already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee?

    I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.

    Where is everyone...??? I screamed.

    "I think there is a crowed outside my room, let me check." I said to myself.

    So many people..... Not all of them crying...

    But why some of them crying...

    WHAT IS THIS??? I m laying there on the floor...

    "I AM HERE" ... I shouted!!! No one listen.

    "LOOK I AM NOT DEAD" ... I screamed once again!!! No one is interested in me.

    They all were looking me on the bed.

    I went back to my bed room.

    "Am I dead??" I asked myself.

    Where is my wife, my children, my mom-DAD, my friends?

    I found them in the next room, all of them were crying... still trying to console each other.

    My wife was crying... she was really looking sad.

    My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad.

    How can I go without saying my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ??

    How can I go without saying my wife that she is really most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..??

    How can I go without saying my parents that I m ... just because of u ??

    I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears...

    Ohh... he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.

    I went there.. And offered him my hand, "Dear friend... I just want to say sorry for everything, we r still best friend, please forgive me."

    No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still preserving his ego, I am saying sorry... even then!!!

    I really don't care for such people.

    But one sec.... it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see my extended hand.

    My goodness... AM I REALLY DEAD???

    I just sat down near ME; I was also feeling like crying...

    "OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS..."

    I just wasn't to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that how much I love them.

    My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful.

    "YOU R BEAUTIFUL" I shouted.

    She didn't hear my words, in fact she never heard these words coz I never said this to her.

    "GOD!!!!" I screamed... a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..

    I cried...

    One more chance please... to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud on me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life....

    Then I looked up and cried!!!!

    I shouted....

    "GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!"

    "You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up. "Did you have a nightmare?"

    I was sleeping....

    Ohh that was just a dream....

    My wife was there... she can hear me...

    This is the happiest moment of my life...

    I hugged her and whispered.... "U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN HIS UNIVERSE.... I REALLY LOVE U DEAR"

    I can't understand the reason of the smile on her face with some tears in her eyes, still I m happy.... :)

    NVC question

    Hi guys,

    I would be very grateful if someone can answer this question.

    My case is at NVC for k3 visa for my wife.

    NVC did assign two case numbers, one for I-130 and one for I-129F

    I just got an invoice for the I-130 application for 70 bucks

    Why did I not get one for I-129F? I know this one is at the US embassy post overseas... so, like if I pay for the I-130 invoice, does that mean I dont want to pursue the I-129F?

    Any help is much appreciated. :D

    In my opinion, both cases go side by side unless you inform them your intention.

    I-129F case forwarded to US embassy/ consulate after case # assigned by NVC and further instruction comes from there. NVC send a letter to the petitioner that they forwarded the case.

    "Instruction package"

    I notice in the VJ timeline there's an "Instruction Package" received after the I-864 and DS-230 gets sent off. What is that?

    Packet 3 (Instruction Package Agent) from NVC states that “We have received

    all necessary Immigrant Visa fees for this case” …………….And something about Police Clearance and DS-230. Basically it is a formality letter.

    Packet 4 is Appointment Cover Letter (as stated) from NVC and it is interview letter inform by NVC by e-mail. It has date and place of interview. And also states that your case forwarded to US embassy/consulate. Basically it is a farewell letter from NVC to your case…………“The National Visa Center has completed its processing of this case and any further inquiries should be addressed to:

    <US embassy/ consulate address>

    I Miss Her...are you quoting things you find off the internet or through actual experience???!!!...I NEVER recieved any packet 3 as your post states...specifically any letter informing me they recieved all necessary immigrant visa fees or inregards to police certificate or ds-230 forms...keep your posts to actual experiences to help the OP's, not confuse them...thank you!

    IT IS ACTUAL EXPERIENCE.

    IF YOU NOT RECEIVE PACKET 3 BETTER CALL NVC AND GET IT.

    JUST DO NOT MAKE ANY CONCLUSION ABOUT MY POSTING.

    your packet 3 is a mystery to me...your post caused me to look over ALL mailings i have recieved from NVC...my final packet contains interview cover letter...a check list of all documents recieved and or needed at time of interview and medical instructions and or requirements...

    Packet 3 come to me 10 days before packet 4 (interview e-mail), just after my case complete by NVC (please look at my time line). They send e-mail to me and cc to my wife.

    As I mentioned before, it is nothing but a formal e-mail from NVC. So even if you do not have it do not worry or if you want call NVC, may be they send it to you.

    i guess you are a lucky one recieving packet 3...i would have loved adding more useless paperwork to my already over-bound interview portfolio...

    my only worry is people reading your post and wondering why they have not received the "mysterious packet 3", when they should be concerned with the medical exam and final prep in regards to the interview...

    You asked me about Packet 3 and I told you. However, if you have not received it then it is not my fault. Please do not get frustrated about it as it just an e-mail from NVC.

    Email the DS-3032 as soon as you can, they will send you a response in 3 days or so, you can email them before the AOS Bill is paid. You have to wait for the AOS Bill, so you can get the Invoice ID Number (IIN) to pay the bill online. At this point there are two parallel tracks at NVC that can be followed on to submit the I-864 and the other for the DS-230.

    The I-864 and DS-230 can be downloaded and prepared in advance.

    try reading your post that I was commenting on...its "use of wording" makes little sense...and I DO know the truth, i have been through this process once already (CR1), start to finish...and am now going thru it again (CR2)....your inability to convey useful posts in proper words is (at the very least) confusing and diluting to the VJ forum (in my opinion), not to mention all your "random" links...

    ummmmm no, def not. they do not punish you haha, atleast ive never heard of anything like that.... but they will probably be like 'oh well your case is still within the 90 days processing time, or w/e please call back when it has passed the 90 day deadline or w/e' and they probably wont be able to help you much.

    Yea, I know sometimes i overkill my statements haha. Ok.. so i'll give 'em a buzz and see whats the hold up.. my case got approved on feb 27 , 2009 so i think they sent it to the nvc and i'm not sure where this information is. I haven't got a notice from the NVC or any other information. I also signed up for uscis instant email alerts and even though i received approval letter in the mail, the status on the internet says pending..hmmmm :blink: Does anyone else have this similar type of situation?

    Oh GOD!!!!! based on your approval date many people have even completed NVC journey.

    What you are waiting for?

    USCIS send approval notice (NOA2) by an e-mail and then send hard copy of approval notice to petitioner and forward the case to NVC where case # assign.

    Call NVC automated phone line, using your USCIS receipt # find out any NVC case # assigned to you or not but best is to talk someone at NVC.

    Hi,

    My case was completed on 3/30/09, so I assume I will get a May date. I'm a little confused when the NVC is actually scheduling interviews. Half the operators say they are doing it in the week of April 6-10, and the other half says April 13-17. Does anyone know for sure and did anyone get a May date already?

    The only thing I was able to find out is NVC will be open on April 10 despite being a holiday, so it's not going to be a short week for them. The operator I just spoke to said she is pretty sure they will wrap up scheduling for May by April 10. So I'm very confused, just want a confirmed date in May, any date.

    Anyone?

    Usually they assign interview date in approx. 10-days after case completion. Call NVC or wait there Packet IV e-mail for interview date.

    Hey folks

    Well we have filed our I-130 and recieved our first NOA a few days ago!

    So i need to know what happens next???? We have seen so many different versions and horror stories that we simply don't know which way now to turn. At the minute i'm planning to go see my wife with a tourist visa and stay as close to the 90 days as possible....i reckon it will take the sting outta the process......

    But we are stuck on this whole K-3/CR1 thing...i mean after I-130 is approved what hapend then????

    Any info would be good............and also there is no point filling in my time line at the minute because we just got started

    DS 3032 and Barcode Cover Sheet

    Probably a simple question but the process is so confusing (as you all know! :wacko: )...

    I paid the IV fee here in the States and my wife filled out the DS-3032 form and sent it to the NVC from Mexico. I am stressing out because I just realized that she sent in her form without the barcoded cover sheet I printed after seeing the IV fee was paid. My wife did say there was a small barcode in the top left corner of the DS 3032 form. Maybe it's a non-issue?

    Yes, if DS-3032 received from NVC otherwise on form DS-3032 there is no such bar code (hand written NVC case # at space provided at top also work).

    Check below the bar code, if any, is NVC case # mentioned?
