Yes, she told me that she had 2 cenomars from Manila and the other one in Davao NSO.

the biological father only spent 1 week here in the Philippines and then back to Canada.

Her son stays with the biological father side.And they told my friend that she plans to get her son at the later date.

Does it affect her K1 application if the CO will see the last name of her son is different from hers?

I meet a nice lady at the airport early this morning.And I found out that she also had a American fiance.

They filed the K1 packet just last week, and she keep asking me many questions about the K1 process.

She told me that she had a 1 year old son, and never been married.

But the problem is, that in her son birth certificate last name, is the last name of her son father.

Also at the back of her son birth certificate ,they both signed the "Affidavit of Acknowledgement/admission of Paternity".

it was also a delayed registration of birth because her son father is a OFW,.

Her question is ,is this will affect her K1 application because of her son birth certificate last name?

She told me that she had CENOMAR on hand, just to make sure that she is not married.

My parents and siblings also ask to return back at the embassy after the interview, and the next day they submitted adiitional documents and their visa is released after 5 business days

I need a little advice on this.

My fiance is preparing for her interview and picked up a copy of her childs birth certificate from the NSO. It lists the parents as married. she has never been married.

She found out that her child's Lolo (the fathers father) used to work at city hall and "changed" the birth certificate to show that the parents were married.

He says he did this for the child because he wanted the baby to have more advantages in life.

there is also a resgristration number for a marriage on the birth certificate.

this is a little crazy to me.

she is going to NSO first thing Monday morning to apply for CENOMAR.

whats the likelihood that the NSO has recieved notification from the local city hall and they consider her married? how long does it take to get an anullment in philippines?

I am trying to stay calm and relaxed about this.

I am sure you guys have already come up with the answer for this but anyway...Yes in Italy the bases are considered US territory. I am assuming he is being stationed there permanently (2 years at least)...Once your visa is approved he can fly to the US to meet you and get married there...(You can technically get married in Italy but its a big pain in the butt cause you will need to get the wedding cert translated)......Anyway get married in the states then you can go to Italy with him on your american visa due to the SOFA (Status of forces agreement)...You dont really have to do anything.....When your visa gets approved he just has to get a letter from the command there in italy to do a tour conversion (unaccompanied to accompanied) or make you a "Command Sponsored Dependent"....They might call it something different in the Army but its the same thing either way. Its just a letter from the command saying he is authorized to bring a dependent to Italy.

You are actually going to be in a better posistion when it comes to the citzenship process cause overseas military dependents applications have the benefit of command legal and they usually get expidited.

Now if he is just there TDY/TAD or Temporarily whatever the Army calls it you can get an extension approved from the embassy you can even tell them about it in the interview and they can extend it right then.....It wouldnt hurt for you to bring his orders or a letter from the command to the interview saying when he will be back in the states if he is TDY there.

First of all, you need to create a Customer Portfolio @ https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

Then, key in the required information, that includes your EACXXXXXXXXXXX

You'll be able to track your case status after that.

Our arrived in Vermont on the 3rd July, and noa1 didn't arrive until the 28th. They are quite slow at the moment with the notices.

Sent in my petition June 23rd and no check cashed no NOA1 yet.

I just got off the phone with them and no record in their system. On the phone prompts it says it could take up to 30 days. Then I get a person on the phone and they claim that it can take up to 90 days! or it could be the case that the petition was forwarded to another service center, coz Vermont may or may not be very busy?

It's truly unbelievable that a packet received after another could be processed first. I tried to make the agent explain to me how this is possible, but really she had no clear answer.

he is just probably busy cuz training takes alot out of them and maybe he is on one of those training things that they have to be away from their barracks..........i dont know that much about the military only what i see on the movies lol sorry wish i could be more help to u but i bet that is what happened

hi i got some bad news today my partner is deploying early next year jan/feb and now our timeline for k1 visa is not looking good. we submitted it 6/6/2008. it feels like such a kick in the teeth because it took so long to get that application put together and i just dont know what to do. my head hurts thinking about this and i feel so dissapointed that we may need to cancel this and start over but we will have the same senario next time... arrgg i cant think straight any ideas, anyone been through the same thing... thanks ronay xx

We are on the same thing, my fiance sent the packet early this month, and just after 3 days from filling it, he received an order for his new assignment in korea.

I ask him ,how can we marry if you are deployed outside the US soil?he told me that it is not a problem because he can apply for a leave, and then after the wedding he will return to Korea,and I have to wait until the AP or GC is approve so that I can follow in Korea.

You need to pass the CGFNS,IELTS(TOEFL) and TSE.
