Have you guys returned your P3 yet?

not yet. he is done with all the forms, he just needs his 2x2 photos, hes says he needs to send one in with pack 3. is this right? i didnt think so but he said yes. he cant get to a photo shop yet because he works looong hours n needs to wait til saturday. ugh! i want to send it in already!

He doesn't need to send a photo in with pkt3, just take them all to the interview.

Get the pkt sent NOW!! lol

Have they changed the forms since we sent ours back? Not heard of gluing the pic to the 156?

As far as what we did - he doesn't send it in.... he takes them with him to the interview and they staple it to ppwk and have him sign his name over it.

Have him read a bit on VJ - maybe reading what went on with ppl that actually went through the process will help him?

it says they'll glue or staple it there... but that's for them to do. If nothing else, ask him to bring them with and then tell the person at the window... his fiance and the crazy ppl on vj told him not to glue it - is that right? LOL and see what they say. We didn't do it, that whole right side seems to be for 'office use'.

Hey guys I am in the US of A now. With my fiance. I am so happy. My trip was quite adventurous as my plane got delayed for an hour and I only had 2 hours to board my next plane in Hawaii (my POE) to my final destination. I had to go through the immigration and customs in Hawaii as it was my POE. I only had an hour to board my next plane. I had to run. I'm so happy I chose Hawaii as my POE because there was hardly anyone in the immigration. I had everything done in 20 minutes with the immigration and customs. Whew!

congratulations !! Glad it was a nice and easy trip if not a little nerve wracking!!

Tomorrow is the day Johny comes home! The weather is supposed to be ####### in the northeast hopefully that doesnt delay his flight any, but with our luck it will! Very excited only 26 more hours to go!!!

I'm still at packet 3 stage. waiting for my fiance to get all his forms and stuff together. He cant get a working printer. doesnt have one at home, work one is no good and even internet cafe one isnt working. He'll have to wait for next weekend to print out all the forms. ugh. Plus still waiting for police reports (he just requested those last week). how long do those take?

I'm pretty much done with my part, well almost, still need to get a couple things, but i'm in no rush if he hasnt even mailed back packet 3. this is frustrating me. Is it ok that we are taking forever to get pack 3 sent back? i know we have a 4 month deadline, but i'm sure we'll have it mailed in by april. I just want to get pack 3 mailed off. i wish i could do that part myself. i'm not a control freak...well, not really haha. Just like to make sure things get done!

Police certificate is usually pretty quick, assuming it's straight forward lol. Think mine took around ten days from when they received it, I worked for the home office for ten years dunno if that made a difference or not????

Dont worry about the length of time it takes, just get the forms filled out accurately and use your time now to make sure you have all the supporting documents you need for the interview.

I've started apartment hunting which has been fun but also a little disappointing. I want to sign a lease this week if I can. Next week at the latest...that's all for me.

Biggest problems I see have to do with run-around with the medical/vaccination stuff, the occasional sponsor/co-sponsor issue, and the few folks with bad enough luck to require an interview. Just lots of paperwork... fun!

We should all get a certificate to hang on the wall when we finish the process. So and so and their spouse survived USCIS (twice or more times) and the State Department. Your ability to deal with bureaucracy is to be comended...

It'll be nice when we all can relax a little. I think it is gonna be a while though.

Well what's the averages for anything going wrong at the AOS stage? Or do I just have a false sense of security?

Oh don't worry- we're not going anywhere! I like the idea of doing AOS in here too.

I think we'll have the doctor fill out the I693 even though there's conflicting information. It's better to have too much than too little and it's only going to cost an extra $110 ($80 for the forms and $30 for the TB test). We'd consider mailing it to Dr. Arnold but we'd rather just pay a little more and get it over with so we can file ASAP.

I really like the idea of doing AOS on here too, makes me feel more secure!

We're still waiting for Rob's tax return so we can file AOS, just want to get it going!

Only 5weeks left till the wedding ceremony, getting so excited...until i see the large to-do list that i still need to sort!!lol
