OOPS where are my manners AND DAWN!

Thanks for the reply, have you guys got everything organized yet or am I just being obsessive????

    Lol

Have filed out all the forms already that will come with packet 3 ready....just waiting

I don't think anyone on here can be classed as obsessive...just VERY excited!! That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it!!

How many times a day do you check your status??

    Dawn

Well, and no laughing here, Igors list is set as my home page  do I qualify as OCD yet LOL

USCIS is checked probably 2-3 times daily and getting worse as we get nearer to our alledged adjudicated time frame!!!

So wheres is everyone heading once they are approved? I'm off to Florida........

  2. Moring everyone, a brand new week lets hope VSC staff had a good w/e and are raring to get back to work ;)

Just a quick query, I'm getting everything together for the packet 3 so I can send it off ASAP, what original documents do I need from USC fiancee?

many thanks and fingers crossed for a productive week!!

    Nick

    Hey Nick

I printed off the document checklist (IV-15) and it seems that for interview you will need originals from USC of the following:

    Birth cert

    Adoption cert

    marriage cert

    divorce cert

affidavit of support, inc pay slips & tax returns

**copies of cert's would have been sent with original I129-F**

    an updated letter of intent.

  3. ergggh I'm jealous but good luck with the medical and interview hope all goes well for you !!

Quick question Nich-Nick posted " must include passport photos that have been signed on the back by someone who has known you for at least two years. Read the instructions and the list of people who can sign. All this gathering takes time, so work on it before you get your P3 if you want to speed things up."

Maybe I'm getting USCIS-itis and cant see what I'm looking at but who is appropriate as far as signing the photos goes??

    cheers

    N+S

  4. Hi everyone,

When Nick and I first started looking at this site, I had found a thread - or post - that was a former adjudicator answering questions posted by VJers. I believe it was a couple years old - but I'd like to look at it again and just cannot find it. Has anyone seen it??

    Thanks much!

I think this might be what you are looking for.

WOW!! Thank you SOOO much!!! :)

  5. Nick and I met on Facebook and have been together since the first message! He's in England and is 35 - I'm 31 and in Florida...

And just to throw my 2 cents in about those airport goodbyes.... they are pure agony!!!! The kids and I fall into a trillion little pieces - we're all sobbing - the kids especially LOUDLY! - and each time it has only gotten harder to watch him disappear from sight.

I canNOT wait until he arrives for that last time on his ONE WAY ticket!!

  6. Why should you get processed any quicker being in the Forces when you're not even in the country? Slightly irritating that everyone else has to wait in turn for their approval and Forces personnel can bypass the system?????

And before everyone jumps on me think about it, there are many other professions that are "doing good" for the country" like nurses, police officers etc etc do they qualify for expedited approval too??
