  1. We were lucky as we got a joint bank account with Bank of America when I was over here last June, even without an SSN just gave them my UK passport details and once I got my SSN they just updated the account. BUT it means we have joint account statements for 12 months + even tho some are in Shan's old name.

Hmmm. Maybe we should give that a try.

We've really only got that and the new lease that has joint names on it. Shan doesnt have health benefits yet so I'm not named on that sorta thing.....

  2. Cool if it wasnt so far away might be worth the trip but as its next week......early mornings are my fave !!lol

1 week away, I'd just wait too. We saved ourselves 2.5 weeks and we only live 15 minutes from the office so it was worth a shot. They gunned us down initially, but when we came back this afternoon it was no problem. Nobody in the office waiting at 3 pm; in and out in 15 minutes. We need a SSN pretty bad; we got tripped up at the POE with a clerical error and they have basically ignored us since then. It's hard to have a joint anything with out it.

    Orlando morning traffic...good luck.

    LOL yeah cant wait!!!

  3. We just got a 9am Tuesday morning appointment, probably payback...

:whistle: I called them and told them you wanted an early appt :devil:

I'm thinking about just showing up before our appointment on a day that works for me...

AND you can keep your first born

That's what they always tell you, then the bill shows up in the mail with the green card. Remember that document you signed for the RFE...it was a set up.

NOTHING would surprise me as far as USCIS is concerned!!

  4. yeah about that!!!! LONG BEFORE I USED TO GET UP

You're gettin' soft livin' that fancy Florida lifestyle.

HAHA probably true but getting out the door for 5am to get there for 8am isnt nice!! Mind you make a change us waking Ryan up......

Yeah, 5 am is too early for anything. I wonder how the interviews went?

    :star: yup sure is !!

Yeah I'm curious as to the format of the interview........

  5. Is everyone hanging in there? Nick/Shannon have you received anything on your package yet? Alexandra received her GC today...I must say even including our RFE bump in the road, it was much quicker than the K1 part. To not worry with USCIS for awhile will be nice but I am sure the 21 months before removing conditions will fly by.

Congratulations on finishing with USCIS for a while!!

We got all 3 NOA 1's yesterday so fingers crossed for a speedy resolution, I never not worked for so long in my life!!!!

BUT on the plus side Ive got to spend 7 months at home with little Rybear so more than makes up for it !!
