  1. My baby’s CRBA appplication was approved and we received the US passport in the mail a couple of weeks ago.  Today,  I received an email saying that the “printed CRBA certificate has been mailed”.    Is this separate from the US passport which we already received?

Scratch what I said, it is different in Cebu

I created an account to be able to make an appointment for Cebu City,  but the only option I see is for Manila.     Does anyone know if we can still do an appearance for Cebu city?

  3. I am trying to make an appointment for CRBA in Cebu City.   The website has grayed out dates,  unable to make appointment.   Has anyone tried walking in and getting it done?      I know I read a post that walk ins are allowed but the post is from 2014.

I am hoping someone has tried this year 2023.

I don't have experience with Cebu but if you can make an appointment, that would be for the appearance of the child too.  Also, look into the Embassy outreach program.  I did both of my kid's CRBA at outreaches, avoiding a trip to Manila or Cebu.

So I can make the appointment for Cebu then also have the appearance in Cebu?

  5. im getting ready to mail my n400 so i want to be sure i get things right. im filing under the 5 yr rule. do i still need to mail a copy of my annulment in the phils? my 1st marriage was annuled . it says on the uscis site:

If you were married before, send:
Proof that all earlier marriages ended (divorce decree(s), annulment(s), or death certificates(s)).
im not sure if this refers to people filing under the 5 yr rule.
my 2nd marriage was to an american citizen who petitioned for me to come to the usa.
  6. So basically, all the informations on their system is based only on what you feed on your paperworks? Further interrogations later on will happen if something doesnt jibe with your infos at their file. Am i right guys?

it could be how the beneficiary answers the consul, whether her answers coincide with their file, whether she knows everything about the petitioner, basically the consul wants to know if the marriage is real .

  7. Hi to all!

I read that during the interview CO looks at his computer at same time? will it mean to validate what your answers are at same time versus to their file at computer? Thanks

yes. all info about you is already in their system .

Thanks sha! The info on their system is based on the paperworks you passed in filing?Let's say they just transferred the information from your papers to their computer?

uhmmm i think all the information about the petitioner, all the infos. in the packet.. think the co is looking if the answers of the applicant is true/ if its tally to all the embassy's information... :star:

    thanks happyme!

a lawyer friend of mine works inside the embassy, he told me the us embassy's computer system is very advanced and centralized . even at the NVC stage, they have already input data in their computer.

  8. My wife did the medical 1 1/2 months early. She only had the NOA2 approval notice and her MNL number.

How long are the SLEC medical results valid for?

its valid for 6 months IF there is no problem with your xray results. however if you undergo sputum tests or medications, it is only valid for 3 months.

  9. Myself and my fiancee both texted Delbros after she paid them the 650PHP we both never received a reply back has anyone ran into this issue? I called the DOS to check and see if the Embassy had processed our packet from the NVC and they have not processed it yet could this be the issue?

i thought the embassy doesnt use delbros anymore? if im not mistaken, they use air21 now

  10. To add with your burden, when your fiance come here in US, he will still undergo TB test. They don't trust the SLEC, and they will have their own test.

    What are you talking about?

When did they start requiring another TB in USA.

My Fiance arrived in August last year. She never had to do another TB test.

I think you are giving inccorect information................

they will do another TB test in the USA if you underwent sputum tests or medications in the phils. since your fiance passed her medical without undergoing sputum, then she is not required to do another TB test in america.

  11. i know some people who had clear xrays in other hospitals but was found to have " suspicious findings" at st lukes. i asked st lukes nurses and doctors about this and they told me they have hi tech equipment compared to other hospitals. bottomline, no matter how much we doubt them or question them, there is nothing we can do except comply with what they tell us to do.
