Other evidence, yes, but evidence that CAN work against you. I'd print them and keep them in the back pocket until asked for specifically. Sending money to a foreign fiance or spouse in a poor country can come back and bite you if taken as part of a scam. Giving money is a one-sided bona fide, so it's better to focus on visits and regular communication than one-way evidence.

My case was entered in NVC yesterday. So eveyerbody who got approved last week, try checking today and see if your number is logged.

called late last night spoke with operation. Not entered yet. Called this morning to check automated line...nothing.

ok. i'm retarded too and didn't think that NVC might be closed saturdays. it did enter my mind but then sent it my AOS package anyway and got this:

"Status: Notice Left

We attempted to deliver your item at 11:02 AM on August 2, 2008 in PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

our courtship has lasted 6 years.. that's a lot of stuff to bring to the embassy! i can't even find the really old pics now. i have a couple that was somehow saved online.. gona try to print that. only printed out 4 pages of chat logs and screenshots dating back to 2004. can't seem to find anything before that. thank goodness i saved the messages in YM. have my current cellphone bills printed out.. well, a couple per year since 2003.. going to bring some wedding and honeymoon pics. he has a billion of my letters. i think that's enough.

the only time mine updated was 7/21.. after that, nothing. then couple of days later i got my NOA2 in the mail.. it is still pending on the USCIS website..

NVC's AVR also sucks when it comes to updating.. well, it doesn't suck too much but it is a little bit slooow. so better talk to an operator if you want to get anywhere. better yet, talk to a NIGHT SHIFT operator if you want to get anywhere.. remember, it is EASTERN STANDARD TIME. for days the AVR wouldn't change.. so i decided to call and speak with an operator and ask for the IIN. Went to the website and tada: AOS has been invoiced. the AVR still says "your case was received on blah blah blah..."

alright KAHM! you might make it out of NVC before me! yahoo, it appears, does not seem to be the preferred email account of NVC. so ya'll.. just set up other accounts to send your DS-3032. Sent his with GMAIL.. and definitely don't tell the operator that you are going to pay online.. haha! they don't want you doing that at all! glad you manage to get your IIN, KAHM!

by monday the status might change to PAID then you can go ahead and print out your barcode and send in your AOS package. then the waiting begins for them to receive your DS-3032. as soon as they've received that, your IV fee will be invoiced. at least that's how i understand it..

wow.. i've never seen anybody who was "touched" so many times before.. dang.. it's been more than 300 days for a K1??? that's ridiculous!!!

the past 3 months of waiting have been the longest months ever but they went by pretty fast! it's all the mind game of waiting.. at least we have this forum to make us even crazier! hehe! i'm going to see my husband on wednesday! but really tuesday, our time..

they had better receive my AOS by that time!!

If this helps anybody, we used a hotmail account and received the autoreply within a few seconds. I still think that James' shortcuts are much faster for the DS-3032. The AVR already reports as having received it, and I can now pay the IV Fee Bill online.

wow, t0+.. just looking at your timeline and saw that you are flying through nvc.. lucky you that they received your DS-3032 right away. i have special circumstances so flying through nvc probably won't happen for me.. oh well.. it's not like i have money for his plane ticket anyways.. hehehe!

Well last week, I emailed the embassy and explaind them my situation. That we had a K3 interview on August 14th and our CR1 case was now complete at the NVC. And would it be possible to change that interview to a CR1 interview. Well yesterday the replied to me that they contacted the NVC and told them to expidite my file to the embassy, and they let me know that it shipped on Wednesday and they would let me know when they receive it.

But now my wife is in a panic again. She thinks that Cr1 interview is going to be more difficult than the K3 intervirew because it is for a PR visa. I try to tell her that there is no difference.

just got home.. had to swing by the post office to mail the AOS. Steve, your wife is too cute! hehehe.. but i can understand how she feels though. 'specially since our spouses really don't divulge themselves into this world so they really don't know the minor differences, etc. i have been explaining this whole process to my husband a billion times and i don't think he gets it at all.. but that's ok. in our partnership, i'm the one in charge of details and i just tell him that this needs to be done and we need to go here, etc. and it works.. that is so cool that you were able to change it to CR1.. good job on that one!

i checked every nook and cranny of my yahoo account. nothing. i checked his too. nada. i probably will forget about the waiting for the DS-3032 while i'm over there. i will be on vacation so that might be the last thing on my mind.. I HOPE!
