Our wedding was super low key...just got a self uniting license and had my brother and his wife sign as witnesses over dinner - no ceremony or nada - or big wedding party will be in May How was biometrics? What did they do? Glad to hear ur case was transferred to CSC..great sign it will be approved soon!!

Hey sweety. We need to get Fer's SSN. What did you check off on th eform - legal alien allowed to work or NOT allowed to work? What did you have to bring to the SS office?

I have the same questions about SSN. I am sure that K-1 holders can get one, just figuring out what they need to bring to the office and check off on th eform.

Es que el si ha tenido vacunas de chikito pero su mama no guardo ningun documento para comprobarlo. Oye y tuviste que traducir tu el documento mexicano de espanol al ingles pa el cirujano civil?

Hey chica, since we are both in PA I wanted to ask you how long it took to get the marriage certificate after you got married. Did you take it to the office after you got married and they certified it there?? Is it a certificate or just a copy of the license? How long did you have to wait if they mailed it to you?

We are getting legally married at the courthouse ASAP - by the end of this month most likely. Our big "wedding" is in May in Mexico =)

Hey thanks! My fiancé is coming in about two weeks. I'm starting to look at the AOS forms already...eeek!! Did you guys file already? Did your hubby get his green card yet? We should all meet up for coffee sometime, it would be great for Fernando to meet up with another "paisano" going through the process

Did you get your vaccines in Mexico or the states?

I read your CDJ review and laughed out loud when you said that this website is a blessing and a curse because of all the weird stories on here. So true, some of the stories on here are insane. I'm always joking about them w/my FI and reading him some of the crazy stuff that I read here. hahaha. I've started to get together some of the AOS forms already "here we go again" .

Thanks for the pics, very helpful. How long did it take you to get SSN after your POE date? Did you need it for the marriage license? Also, how was getting a PA drivers license? What did you need and how long do you have to have the permit before you do driving test? Fernando has a Mexican license but I think he has to do a US driving test right?
