Got a reponse to my inquiry from the Consulate saying they have received my case even though when I call them they say they do not have it in their system!! Who to trust? Should I make appt yet or not
Well, the response I received was via e-mail. They said I should receive an invitation letter in the mail in two to three weeks. But then other people say you don't need the invitation letter for the appt and they can print it there..VERY confusing!!
Monica, Each country has a way...in Brazil we don´t need to wait for the letter, as soon as we get the number we can send the email asking the day the interview... no worries... soon you ll get it...your Fiancee needs to be prepared (papers, exams ......) ...because soon he ll get it!!!!
Hey, I called the 703 number and got more confused. If you have a CDJ number you are just waiting for the letter from the consulate telling you that your case is ready for processing and to schedule interviews. Packet 3 is online. Good luck!
