  1. We are still waiting on our DS5535...but they did give us instructions on how it should be sent by Canada Post...so do check the email
  2. Hi sorry for my ignorance...what is "OP" and "OP3"? Thanks.
  3. I think that this is the fastest way to get it. We got ours in 3 weeks.
  4. Hi...we sent an email enquiry on May 29th, 2024 and received an reply today (June 14, 2024) stating that our case is still in administrative processing. My spouse interviewed with MTL consulate on March 15, 2024. Just sharing an update.
  5. Hi..I am also planning to contact my congressman. My spouse interviewed in March 2024 and we were planning to wait for 6 months. When did you interview at MTL consulate. Also...am very interested in the outcome "pending review by a consular officer". Thanks and all the best.
  6. I sent an email on May 29th and got the respones that I should use Visa Navigator. There are no updates to my case on CEAC.
  7. I sent an email yesterday (May 29) enquring about the status. Got a generic email asking em to use the Visa Navigator. Not sure if I will see any updates to my case.
  8. Here is the link for the Visa Navigator: https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=dFDPZv5a0UimkaErISH0Sy1YoH0qhFtLmlsn5fRWtORUM1VNMVlYWFAzNldZRU5KUjgwTjhFOVFWTCQlQCN0PWcu
  9. Tried the visa navigator to contact montreal consulate...rather than directly emialing them?
  10. Has anybody tried the Immigrant Visa Navigator? Also, is this information correct? If your case is undergoing Administrative Processing, please do not send any documentation until you receive an email from the Immigrant Visa Section at the U.S. Consulate General Montreal, unless otherwise specified. If your administrative processing has been pending more than six months, please contact us.
  11. Hi..my spouse interview on mar 15, 2024 and got a DS5535. I was thinking of writing to the Montreal consulate, to enquire about her case. What is the email address of the Montreal consulate? Thanks.
  12. Hi...just some reassurance...if it helps..even my wife has a DS5535 pending anc crossed over to the US by car. She was pulled over for secondary questioning...but was only asked when she would be returning.
  13. CL23....I checked daily for the first weeks and it has now dwindled to once a week...which will soon go down to once a moth I am sure...and then it will just be waiting for the e-mail...lol
  14. CL23...we had 3 updates within the first week...and no updates since then...it is really frustrating..
  15. Hi...CL23... My spouse had her interview in Montreal consulate on Mar 15, 2024...and we are still waiting for updates..
  16. Hi...we had three updates within the first week after submitting our DS5535 on March 19...nothing after that
  17. Hi...glad to know that things are moving forward for you. My wife got her Public Health results in 5 days (that was in March, and she has a DS 5535). You might want to check with your healthcare provider if the report has arrived.
  18. Hi...I am able to get the travel history...but not the latest I-94
  19. Choose “Travel History”. “Class of Admission” is the Visa type. I have that document. It is just that it is not current (it is June 2023, though it should be April 2024). How do I get the most recent one.
  20. Hi...I have that page too...but that is dated June 2023...she has made more trips after that...August 2023, November, 2023 and April 2024). How do I get the most recent one.
  21. How do I check on the I-94. It does not give the category of the visa? When you check on I-94 website, the "View Compliance" tab does not give the most recent entry (it has June 2023, whereas it should be April 2024). Also the "View Travel History" does not give the type of visa.
  22. No...he did not mention it...we were not given a reason why we were called for a secondary inspection
  23. Expereince-Driving into the US after getting a DS 5535 Hi..drove in yesterday into the US. I have a GC while my wife's DS 5535 is processing at the Montreal consulate (since march 19, 2024). We both have NEXUS cards and we thought it would be easy. The officer at the border asked my wife if she had a job in Canada. She replied that she had just been laid off. He then asked how long she planned to stay....and she replied 1 mont. We were then asked to park our car and go to secondary inspection. The officers were courteous and let us enter after clarifiying how long she would be staying. Do you always get pulled up for secondary questioning at land borders if you have a DS 5535 pending? It would be great if others could share similar experienes.
  24. Yes...that is the pattern form the Montreal consualte. We submitted the DS5535 on March 19, 2024, and there were three updates in a week. And then silence since then. Dont expect to see any movement for a logn time.
  25. Hi...my spouse interview on March 15, 2024 at Montreal Consulate. We had the same issue with travel. We did what "Leo the Great" suggested. I am thinking it will be a lognwait.
