  1. Thank you!! As for your estimate, I think they're a bit off there. People who sent it in in February are getting their NOA2s now, I feel like to skip 3,5 months in a month is a bit fast. I'd guess another month or 3 for your NOA2.
  2. Yep, that's your NOA1! Congrats!
  3. Do you not have better evidence? Texts, pictures? I'd also exclude it
  4. Thanks, the timeframes help! And it definitely helps to know who gets what hahah. I messaged Rosaly recently because I want to prepare everything, so hopefully they can provide more insight! I don't mind the waiting, just trying to figure out the steps
  5. I've visited but only for 15 days. They might interrogate you a little more due to the length, but you should be fine. Be aware that you need a seperate visa for Canada
  6. Hi everyone! Our 129f got approved last week, yay! But I'm now a little clueless on how to proceed. We are starting to fill out our I-134, and are waiting for our NVC number. But I was wondering, who receives that and how? Mail, email? Because my fiancé never got the email about our 129f being approved either, when he did get an email about NOA1. Weird. We got approved last wednesday, maybe it's still coming in the mail? I'm trying to prepare everything for the interview as fast as possible, sadly the information on the German embassy is a little outdated. Can I bring something that has those metal rings in the paper? I struggle to find the word haha. I basically made a scrapbook with proof of our relationship, I need to know if I need to cut those papers out hahah. Any help and tips are appreciated because suddenly I feel very clueless.
  7. I'm glad I have someone's story to follow!! Hope your interview goes well, I'll keep an eye on your profile around July 12th
  8. Please let us know how everything is with the Frankfurt office!! We should get our NOA2 as our confirmation was January 31st, and I'm very nervous with the lack of recent reviews on the website.
  9. Really! I was reading online 6-8 months but the USCIS processing time still said 11-13 months every time so I tried to not get my hopes up
  10. If they catch you over staying you can be banned for I think 5 years. Do not overstay.
  11. Without knowing the full status about OPs story, I still wanted to mention the ifs, the possiblities just incase it does happen. There might be things that can cause the AOS to be denied that OP isn't disclosing. I understand wanting to speed things up, but I always want to know the full picture and the worst case scenarios in my case
  12. Wait, Amsterdam stopped doing visas?? That's good to know, jeez.
  13. I personally wouldn't do it. If your AOS gets denied, you're back to square 1. You'll have to return, I don't know how many issues it can create for future visa's etc, but there's a chance it might. And if it takes long, it might cause the wait for the K3 visa to skyrocket. For all you know it can go to 2-3 years.. It's all 'if' 'if'. But me personally, fellow Dutchie hello, I applied in January, and I'm likely getting my next step in June/July, which will probably result me in moving end of the year.
  14. I also dated long distance in Covid, it did not last very long haha, those must've been trying times!! I'm so happy for you that it's speeding up!
  15. God 4 years, that sounds so rough!! We're celebrating our 2 year anniversary tomorrow, so we're not that long thankfully. I was planning a 2 month trip to see him in October, but it's looking like that could potentially be a final move date too?? I don't know, I'm going crazy haha
  16. June is still pretty fast!! I was shocked to see December cases being accepted already, we were guessing it to be end of the year!
  17. We sent ours in on December 4th, was received on the 31st of January and got NOA1 on the 7th of February! No clue why the gap is that big for us tbh
  18. Thank you, that gives me a little bit of peace! I had a feeling it was fine, just wanted to make sure. Thanks again!
  19. Hi! My fiancé and I sent off our paperwork in December. Below is the message we see when we put our case number in the USCIS tool. It states to follow the instructions on n the notice. But the only notice we received had the number in it and that it arrived. Did we miss a letter? Does anyone have any ideas? Or is this just incase there was anything that needed to be done? ’On (date), we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number (number) , and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you have any questions, contact the USCIS Contact Center at…’ Thanks in advance for the help!
  20. Oh a 100%. I even discussed it with my parents and said that I thankfully have probably atleast 6 months until NOA, and if it comes sooner, you always have 6 months before you HAVE to be in the US. So I can thankfully save, and I'm glad I found out now because it makes me be a little more careful with my spending to save those extra dollars. Very glad wer're still at the beginning stage of everything
  21. Yeah we already established the 'living on his income' thing due to the fact the EAD can take a long time, it's doable thankfully! It's definitely a discussion I'm going to have with him in person when I see him this weekend, because it's good to know where we are at! Thank you for the advice!
  22. We'd live around Dallas, so transportation would likely not be a big issue, but it's good to consider! 500ish bucks is probably a decent investment incase anything happens before the I-485 is done. Finding this platform is defintely helping me raise some questions I didn't think of, and knowledge like needing EAD for a drivers license!
