  1. Hello again! Here with a new update, we just got approved!!
  2. Our case was transfered to VSC and we don't have any AWA related crime nor regular crime so my fiance received a biometrics appointment in August, aprox 6 months after we submitted our case. We believe it's because he shares name with some people that are Tier 2 criminals. Other than that we have no more information, so if you don't have any AWA related crime and your case is still in CSC then I guess it will be processed accordingly.
  3. Hi! Something similar happened to us. We believe it's because there is a person with the same name that has criminal charges. Did you get any notice so far?
  4. Hi again! Would like to share an update. My fiance was asked to go to a biometrics appointment, which he completed this past week. Seeing how other cases went I gotta say that I'm pleasantly surprised by how soon that was asked for. Anyway, I will keep this thread up to date.
  5. This is our current situation. Our case was transfereed from CSC to VSC, and we found that there is a man with the same name and physical descriptions as my fiance that has an awa related criminal record. We are waiting any news from VSC
  6. There's nothing through Google. I found him through the national sex offender registry.
  7. So a small update. We found an "evil twin". This person is a sex ofender tier 2. With the same physical descriptions (race, hair and eye color, height, weight, some tattoos) the birthday is different but for a day. This person is 7 years older tho and of course with the same name but is safe to say that he doesn't look like my fiance. Additionally, there is no criminal records or anything awa related that show he (my fiance) has had any issues with the law, besides a speeding ticket that is no longer showing in his registry. Could that resemblance with that one person be enough alarm to ask him for biometrics?
  8. We used rapidVisa for the filling and whatnot. All the info we've been reading is that California might be overloaded with cases hence the transfer, other than that I have no idea
  9. Hello! We just got an update on our case and it has been transferred to Vermont from California. Is there any similar situations to us and do you know why this can happen? Thanks in advance!
