    it's been a while since I have posted here in VJ, I have gained a lot of friends including my kids' godmother. One of the friends I have met was Cathy.

      Condolences for your great loss. I applaud you for bringing to light just how devastating DV domestic violence can be.

       

      Many VAWA victims struggle with guilt / worry about causing problems to their abuser spouse , telling themselves ( oh he is the father of my children, he can change, he wasn’t really that violent…) to just get through it without making waves or calling the police or fighting for restraining orders.

       

      I hope you post her story on the VJ VAWA thread and accept my thanks for this moment of awareness.
