Thank you. My wife just finished the sputum collections yesterday. Definitely nerve wracking. She has never had any TB that she knows of. Just hoping it's negative. Thanks again

So if you have latent TB and do sputum testing at SLEC will it come back as negative and you will clear medical?

My wife has never had TB before and just had to do sputum. From the people I know personally every woman that has children had to do sputum testing and the few I know that don't have any kids passed with no sputum. They seem to get most people for it because they use cheap xray film. Serious incompetence over there

Good advice. We just got delayed for sputum testing. It's not required for all applicants though. Only if they see something on your chest xray. Sure seems like all because they do it to most people because they use cheap xray film..

SLEC has some serious issues with this sputum garbage. Seems like they do this to a majority of people and most do not have TB. Most come back negative but I know a few that were positive but did not have TB. Just happened to us on Feb 2nd. She just finished giving her 3 days of samples yesterday. Tell her to get there early. My wife went at 430am every day and was still between number 30 and 50 in line. And they told my wife if negative she will get her immunizations the day she comes back. Not sure why they told you to wait a month. Because you only have 6 months till medical expires so that's cutting it close.

I got dq and didn't need marriage certificate from first marriage. Just divorce decree.

Supposedly you can not directly file in Manila anymore. Not sure about special cases. Doubtful

I heard and maybe you can correct me if I'm wrong that there won't be any issue getting the Cr1 visa but you won't be able to complete the cfo without the rom to leave the country. Do you know anything about that.

Supposedly Manila embassy will accept assets. Only income

Has to be expedited case to schedule in cgi. Manila stopped approving expedites for any reason on October 1st so unless you got a really good reason they might deny it. Hope it works out. Good luck

Thanks a lot..good luck to you too. I appreciate that. Yeah the Philippines uses a typewriter on their birth certificates and its hard to read. It was a picture I uploaded. I have the actual document coming in the mail..gonna try to scan it and hope it's readable. It's late registered so it's 2 pages and on the 2nd page they typed words off the line and half covered the words below it. Hope they accept it at all. I'd have to send her to psa and hope they would create a better copy.

Just curious how did you call NVC? They suspended their phone line months ago

Submitted docs August 18th RFE note October 14th for PSA birth certificate not clear enough. Everything else accepted but one document. Frustrating
