Pues el estar comparando Mexico con Holanda o algun pais de primer mundo esta cabron. Hay corrupcion en todas partes pero, y esto viene de una persona que nacio y crecio en el DF, el problema de Mexico con la corrupcion es enorme. Un pais como Mexico no esta listo para tomar las riendas de un asunto tan intrincado como este. Si en mi pais se dan un tiro evitando que los policias pidan mordida en vez d cobrar infracciones, mucho menos el gobierno esta apto para ejercer un control sobre la droga de uso personal.

Mexico todavia es un pais de tercer mundo me gusto o no y sigue con la ley de la selva, el mas fuerte se come al mas debil y mas fuerte me refiero al que tiene mas $$

Bueno en una nota mas acorde con el tema,si estoy de acuerdo en muchas de sus ideas,lo que si es seguro q algo debe de hacerse antes de q la violencia siga cobrando mas vidas...eso del narcotrafico tiene raices mas profundas y hay muchos intereses envueltos en todo ese meollo y mientras exista la demanda pues dificilmente se acabara con el problema de las drogas..se han puesto a pensar que pasaria si no existiera ese consumo tan abrumador de droga en EU?? se quedaran sin chamba los narcos....

Asi es... si los gringos como gobierno no quieren atacar el problema de la abrumadora demanda que ellos tanto como otros países de dinero tienen, entonces habrá que legalizar el mercado de transacciones entremedio para que por encima de diminuir el tiempo perdido en batallar contra carteles, grupos armados y delincuencia común... se podría efectuar simultáneamente enriquecer el país legítimamente mientras se efectuan planes para mejorar las infraestructuras sociales y económicas de los países... así no habría tanto ilegal en EEUU que tanto racista podría acusar de hasta los dolores intestinales que sufren por comer tanta basura y también los mismos gringos se verían afectados intelectualmente en pro de educarse... un poco más como nación a favor de la moderación en varios de sus esfuerzos.

Y bueno por eso igual sería mejor librar a los policias de arrestar a drogadictos por infracciones de droga... que efectivamente podrían venderlas el mismo gob... piensenlo... sacan de negocio a lso carteles o al menos hacen que los carteles se unan al gobierno (si ya no lo estan, digo... como en muchos otros lugares)... pero me imagino que a la larga no estaría tan loca la idea de que tanta matanza ridicula pararía a cierto modo.

El problema es que tendrían muchos americanos que también querrán cruzar la frontera a consumir como sería un nuevo Amsterdam para algunos... y claro, eso no exucsa el comportamiento criminal que surgiría de tal legalización pero creo que al tener más horas de policia disponible para combatir el crimen a nivel de calle al menos no tendrían que preocuparse por X o Y cartel y sus cantantes por morir...

Ay Diana si no fuera porque tenemos donde llegar alla (familia de mi esposo) creame q lo hubiera pensado dos veces antes de hacer ese gasto,con el costo de la gasolina casi llegando a $4 dolares por aca es escalofriante!!! y por mas q uno no quiera gastar pues siempre hay q sacarse sus pesitos y la verdad es q mi esposo quiere conocer y se ha dado esta posibildad pues vamos a aprovecharla,ya le digo de lo contrario lo veo dificil, Ud q anda buscando pasajes para su esposo pues oi q las aerolineas van a subir mas los pasajes este verano,si encuentra algo barato comprelo antes de que suba mas.

Bottom line is if you both can distinguish between gods law and mans law you can make it work. Religion and faith are 2 different things, learn the differences and understand. The bible (new testiment) was written 400 plus years after Jesus by the Catholic Church. Understand what was written and trust in it not the words of men telling you what it means. This goes for the Qur’an also, understand it and not mans writtings to their interpretations. You may find that the life expected to live form both are not all that different.

FYI the New Testament wasn't written by the Catholic chuch,nor 400 after Jesus

Thank you for all your responses.

I just talked to the immigration assistant, Monica Maxwell and she said not to worry, it's not the end of the world. I sent Monica a couple of emails after I found out about the denial and told me that she will forward my emails to the CO who interviewed my fiance. She told me to expect a reply directly from the CO this week and he will tell me what else he needs. I asked if our file will be sent back....she said that the CO will retain our file until he gets back whatever he needs from me.

I feel a little better and if a second interview needs to be scheduled, I will be there with my fiance. I will keep you guys posted. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

You might PM the member 'almaty'. He flew to his fiance after an initial interview denial and got things turned around. If memory serves me though he was on a flight out pretty quickly.......

Agree!! same here after the initial denial,I had to fly to El Salvador and be interviewed by the OC along with husband(separately) Visa was issued on the spot,it wasn't easy but it was done!!

I know.But they denied his visa.I already had everything planned to do the waiver also.My congressman also wrote me letter.

It varies from consulate to consulate I guess, but it took us exactly 8 months till his arrival to US..

I’m waiting for the P4 from TH embassy now. It takes almost a month but I haven’t heard any thing from them yet, so glad that we’re almost there.

But seem like thing is getting worse, after I’ve discussed with him about the plan and my future life. As I’ve been telling him about my big responsibility as my mom, house, car and all expense that I have now. It’s around $1200 per month that I need him to support my mom and my thing while I’m going to be in USA with him. I know that it’s a lot, crazy and tough for him to handle that. He’s a specialist in Film Service Company in Burbank. I don’t know how much that he made. But I didn’t feel good at all to pass this thing to him, how am I suppose to do while I’m waiting for my work permit and greed card, since I’m going to be such a useless, no work and no money almost a year. He’s so depressed and sad now. Even I tried to cheer him up and figured out about this problem, but he still feels the same.

Only I know is I love him and I want to spend my life with him. But if I go there I’m going to be a trouble for him for a year. I just feel like I should stay here, and live with my real world. I don’t know what to do. I need your help on this…

I second those who say VJ is useful-- I'm incredibly grateful I found it. Others are right-- don't come here expecting free legal advice. But there are some little things that you cannot really find anywhere and where it's very helpful to know what others have done. Things like: "What do you put as the date of departure on the AP form if you don't have any specific plans?" Or: "Can you walk in early for a biometrics appointment?" If I had encountered any complications I would have hired a lawyer but for those of us with straightforward cases this forum and the guides are great. And what's nicer than obsessing over your case with folks who came here from all over the world obsessing over the exact same thing?

VJ has been extremely helpful and I'll always be grateful I found this site..
