  4. WOW! What a tough interview!

However, it is a beautiful story! I love the Psalm 23 question! I suppose that one will be the favorite for you two from now on  Good things come to those who believe...

I hope you're both happy in the US soon! Welcome!

    Psalm 23

THE LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.

He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

    Peace,

    Mark-N-AAm

    Hi Mark-N-AAm:

Amen for that, it is our favorite psalm God always fight the hardest battles for us and there's nothing to fear when his on your side.

  5. WOW! first off Congrats on the approval!

and wow...i dont think i could of kept my cool in that situation, i tend to have a short temper when people start to offend me, and i prolly would of started shouting and what not. so congrats on keeping your cool.... cause some of those accusations were down right vicious!

trust me it wasn't easy but in situations like this they feel like your life depends on them and sometimes takes advantage of that but honestly i felt like we were treated like criminals or we were being investigating for a murder case or something like that

  6. V

After almost 2 1/2 hours of interrogation, my husband finally got his visa,Thank you LORD and thanks to you guys for anwsering all my questions and concerns, you are GREAT!!!

I will give you all the details of the whole ordeal at the El Salvador embassy, all I can say is that I never imagine it was going to be so hard and difficult to convince the CO of our bona fide marriage,we were interviewed separately not by one by 3 different COs,it was quite a challenge to be honest but when you hold the truth it always prevails!!!!

    God bless you all..

Thanks guys!!! for those still waiting keep the faith, your time will come soon and you will be counting the hours for your loved ones arrival to the US and start a beautiful life together Thank you God!!!

  7. Ok guys:

Now I feel more settled to explain with more details the whole thing:

Well first my husband was called at 9:30, I waited impatiently for almost an hour during that time my heart was racing like crazy my first thought was: why is this taking so long? when finally saw the door open and saw my husband's face it was then that I realised this is not going to be any easy, the first words he said to me: Don't worry baby just be yourself, keep calm just answer to all the questions and everything is going to be Ok then he mentioned they had 5 full pages of questions and I just got more worried.

When I've got in there were 2 COs,one asking the questions the other one was just writting in a piece of paper.

It will be impossible to tell you every single one of them because there were to many but the most revelant ones:

Why haven't you met his parents?

why did you married inthe Dominican Republic instead of ES?

if you weren't looking at your husband face,is there any particular mark or anything in his body? tatoos? scars? etc

when did he proposed? where were you when he proposed? where was he?

    does he have brothers sisters?

when was the first time you kissed? how was that kiss?

when was the first time we were intimate?

when was the last time we had sex?

what contraceptive method do we use?

before coming to El Salvador when was the last time you spoke to your husband on the phone?

what did you eat last night?

Oh My God is so hard to remenber everything, all I can say is that it was intense and for some reason the were not convinced.

After that we waited for another 15 min untill I was called in again, this time there was another CO which presented himself as the one with more experienced in cases like this and his words were painful and rude, specially when he said We don't believe this is a real marriage!! I was flipping out just look at him straight in his eyes and said: If you have that much experienced how can you not know our marriage is for real after all this questioning?

He said well I feel like you getting paid to give him a visa, I almost felt like crying at this point but I kept repeating myself"they not going to make feel weak I need to be strong" I said to him: did you check my financial information? did you checked my husband financial information? I don't need that kind of money neither my husband has the money to pay me. Then he said ok maybe he's just taking advantage of you and he's after your money?? My money? who told you I have money? ok he said then he's just after a green card, I thought I eas going to loose it right there.

He said how can you love someone who you met in the internet? that not love Oh my God that was it for me, I just said: I don't need to prove to you how much I love my husband, he knows it,that's why I'm here with him, I had rush and prepare this trip in less than 2 days, left my work,my family,my house isn't that a prove? then he mentioned a sister my husbad has living here in the USA and asked if she paid me to help bring my husband to US? I said I've never met her or even spoken to her on the phone which is true.

This guy was vicious, cruel, rude and all he was doing was trying to intimidate me but I keep my composture and try not get to emotional even though I started to feel sick to my stomach right there.

Then my husband was called in again and this was asking him the same questions he even said to him: you don't love your wife, you only want a green card,my husband told them we were Cristians and have moral values and respect the laws,he said in a very sarcastic way Oh so you cristian? how psalm 23 goes? them my husband staring saying it and he stopped him and said ok,ok

when finally he got out that's when i lost it and started to cry,he just hold me and said to me: God is in control there's nothing to worry about,He's fighting this battle for us but i could'n stop crying.

10 min later they called my husband name at window 11 well they said my husband name and his wife please window eleven. I don't even know how I was able to stand up and walk,my whole body was shaking, at the other side of the window the original CO wass there with a bunch of papers and this is what he said:

Listen he said to me in english I know you made an effort to come here in such a short notice,i know you have to go back to US for work, but I aprreciated then he continued saying: I know this hasn't been easy but it was neccesary there's a lot of fraud marriages going on in El Salvador and we just needed to make sure yours was a real one, this a normal procedures(I'm not sure about that) but he said your answers were accurate and I'm satisfaced with your responses CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I just said: GRACIAS MI SEÑOR(thank you my LORD) and my started to cry(again) my husband kissed me and staring to praise our Heavenly father for letting ud get trough this difficult experience.

OH MY GOD there's so many details I wish to share, but couples going to ES embassy just be prepared, every case is different but prepeare your self with all the evidence you cna possibly collect it helps trust me.

Thanks guys for everything, now we're just waiting for his visa to get deliver, probably in a week or so.

    God Bless you all

i am confused also I had sent in the I 130 7-8 months before and they were consolidated into 1 case and now im getting contacted for the K3

    Hi all:

I had a similar situation here, this is so crazy this immigration people is jus making our lives miserable by confusing us all.

Anyway I also sent my 1129f a week after I'got my receipt from the 1130 the only time I heard from them regarding my 1129 was that it was being transfer to another location I son't remenber wich one,but they procced with my 1130 we're at a consular state right now everything went smoothly with the paper work and everything, yerterday I received a letter fom uscis claiming that in order to process my 1129f they need a "valid marriage certificate" they claim the one I sent it's not valid in El Salvador?? I didn't get married in ES,we've got married in the Dominican Republic why is this need to be valid in ES?? whatever all I know is that my papers are in order at this point as the people in the embassy never mention anything about my marriage certicate so I'm sticking to that. I don't know what to think anymore, and I don't want to get anymore worry that what i'm right now ,having to travel to ES to be with my husband for a second interview on Tuesday 5th, good luck everybody and God bless

  10. he must have been infected before he got the shot

OR JUST CARRYING THE VIRUS? IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE VACCINE TRIGGERED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ILLNESS?

    THANKS EVERYBODY!!

IT MAKES SENSE ACTUALLY,WEIRD THOUGH.. I'LL MAKE SURE HE TAKES ALL THE PRECAUTIONS TO OVERCOME ANY POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS.

    THANKS AGAIN

    GOD BLESS!

  11. hi guys:

I guess i'm just feeling scared and anxious,I couldn't sleep last night(neither my husband) he's having his medical exam this morning.

Anyways here's the evidence we're presenting at the interview:

chats logs since the day we met on line till present.

    telephone bills

    pictures

2 affidavis of evidence ( one from the owner of the company I work which happens to be a very good friend of mine) and another one from the pastor of the church I attend. He's also presenting a letter from his pastor (we both Christians)

    3- boarding passes

    4- money exchange receipts.

5- a copy of my passport.

Now here's the reason a feeling so anxious.

Age difference ( I'm 14 years older than my husband) if you see us together is hard to tell , Idon't look my my age than GOD for that.

I'm only been once in El salvador to visit my husband (back on May 2007)

We never met each i person before we got married (we didn't need to We just knew we're were meant for each other)

I know this is all in God's hand now and I trust him with all my heart since He's the one who really has control of our lives.

But anyways i've just need to hear from you guys and give me your thoughts.

God bless you all and thanks in advance for your advice

Good luck - your story and ours is similar so I will be interested in what they say during the interview. I am 16 years older than my husband(though like you everybody says I look very young for my age and nobody has commented on our age difference) :) Also, we did not know each other for long before marriage - we did not meet online but were introduced by a friend, but we had a very brief courtship(weeks) - normal by Nepali standards but not by American standards, especially given our age difference. We wanted to do things the traditional way and I think when you meet the right one, you just know... (L)

Thanks everybody for your replies and good wishes they're greatly appreciated!

I'm so happy I found this site with so many stories similar to mine when you think you're the only one suffering and in agony you're realised you're not alone.

    Pattu rani:

Age is just a number, me and my husband are so happy together we don't even remenber we're 14 years apart because we're very similar in so many ways is hard to imagine my self being without him God forbidden!!!!!! It hasn't been easy you all know all the struggles that we have get through to be together the most important thing is NEVER GIVE UP!! no matter what the circumstances are, because when you believe in something you have defend it till the end no matter what people say, many think I'm crazy but to be honest with you they will never give me the love, patience, happiness that my husband gives me. I believe in OUR LOVE and trust me on this one coming from someone who actually never believe that Love was actually something REAL i't s been long way for me and I'm glad I was able to experience all af this with the man GOD had in his plans for me.

    God bless you!

I can't believe I'll see my husband in 3 days so happyyyyyyyyy

  12. Hi,

I can't help since I am new to this site, but I can tell you that I am in a similar situation to yours. I am actually seven years older than my husband to be, and to be honest, no one can tell. Most people assume I am just a couple of years older than him, but when people see us together what they notice is just that, that we are together. Age does not matter, if you don't make it into a big deal, nobody else will. Your love shows, and that will be more than enough.

    Hi Nadia:

fortunately that topic wasn't even brought up at the interview( me being older than my husband) it was other things that the consular officer thought we needed to prove that's why I'm travelin to El Salvador to be with my husband for a second interview On tuesday 6th so don't worry to much about it just collect as much evidence as possible, each case is different but from my experience I can tell you that being there with your husband or fiance the day of the interview definately helps

Good luck to you and GOD bless

  13. after your case was completed....how long did it take for your husband to get the interview packet?

    Karla:

for sure GOD is on our side no doubt about it!!!! our case was completed on NOV 28th the interview was scheduled on Dec 5th, I received the packet 4 on Dec. 11th,my husband received his on dec. 21th they sent it to both of us.

Good luck to you guys, by the way the decameron is full for the weekend

  14. Our white form just means that they want more time to review our case before issuing or not issuing the visa. Maybe this is what's happening in your case as well. Good luck!!

You do not need to be there for your honey's interview, but it does seem to help if you are. I could not be at mine, and they did ask if I was there. I do think it helps if they can see you two together but it isnt required for you to be there.

    Jennifer :)

They kept my husband passport by the way.

    Jennifer :)

that was the only requirement he's asking, everything else is fine,no more documentation or anything else needed as per the OC

  16. im soo happy for u guys!!

no if they were going to deny ur visa then they would have done it already! im sure your vise will not get denied!!! IM SOO HAPPY FOR U GUYS!!!

did ur husband take pictures and things to prove ur relationship?

    Hi Karla:

my husband had a lot of evidence with him but the OC saidthe biggest evidence we can present id me being there with him as a couple.

Anyways I'm sure everything is going to be OK for now I need to concentrate on my trip(such a short notice) just the fact that I'll see my husband after 8 long months makes my heart jump...Don't stress yourself about this each case is different just wait and see. we're staying in Bahia del Sol en la costa del sol, I'm looking forward to spend time with my husband.

    Good luck

  17. wow!! does that mean i have to be there for my husbands interview date?

or is this a case by case thing?

    Hi Karla:

the thing is that me and my husband got married In the Dominican Republic and the OC wanted to know why we didn't get married in El Salvador, He just want to see us together and make sure ours is a bona fide marriage that's all,he never said the visa was denied or anything like that,I don't know about just case but to be honest with you I regret the fact that I didn't go to the interview with my husband in the first place, anyway I'm leaving to El Salvador On saturday and spending 5 days with my husband in the beach YAY I'm happy!!!!

  18. They want to interview both to determine a bona fide relationship. This much like USCIS interview when adjusting status from a K-Visa.

At least they gave you this option rather than outright denial like other consulates are known to do.

Thanks YuAndDan which visa did you mention? for adjustment of status? we've never leave together so I just nervous about the questions they ask.

I'm sure this is not a denial? isn't?

what's the difference between receiving a blue or a white paper?
