  7. Attorney should know neither of my two attorneys filed multiple G-28. G-28 is for immigration matter which can encompass multiple forms.
  8. Do not rely on any advise by agent. They're low wage workers who do not know the law. VJ is typically more accurate. You can also consult with an immigration lawyer who should reaffirm it.
  9. What do you mean by "missed"? Sounds like a misrep. Congratulations with your visa approval. Be careful how you answer questions in any potential future application, especially questions whether you ever told US officials something that wasn't true.
  10. Only documented proof of ties will matter to consular officials.
  11. J1 will be maintained as long as you don't violate terms of your status.
  12. The most amusing fact he know learned word "regret". Something he asked translation for at last Friday's interview.
  13. Yes, depends on how long Nobody can predict. Most likely, she will be called in for biometrics, since it's been a while she submitted them.

  18. It's a discretion of USCIS. Even if you spend less than 4 years outside the US, you can get 1 year reentry permit.
  19. More importantly, do your sisters have jobs? Do they have families, assets or other commitments in their country?
  20. Everything is stricter with new administration.
  21. The other angle to look at it is... The purpose of immigrant visa is to reunite US citizen with their foreign spouse. If you already live together elsewhere, you're already reunited, and why should a visa be given? This is why domicile is important. Living together as a proof is more critical for adjustment of status cases.
  22. You don't want to do the minimum. The more the better. $30-40K+ is much more likely to get accepted. And $100K+ is for sure accepted. I'm not an immigration lawyer, but to me claiming FEIE highlights you're living abroad and working abroad, undermining your claim to have US domicile.
