    Are you at the beginning of your exploration of this visa route? Either way, E-2 would require substantial documentation and clear understanding of what you're doing. Interviews, like other non-immigrant visas can be very brief. So unless you have a strong application to begin with, you may be denied very quickly when you show up to the consular interview.

    Ideally they should be the same. Current legal name should be used on all documents to avoid any discrepancies. Note my use of word "should" and not "must". Depending on the laws of their other country they may need to take some action (name change, re-establishing citizenship etc)

    It's probably early for OP's case to be approved. Most I-751s take close to 2 years.

    This is the valid answer. People with multiple citizenships may need to travel with passports required by countries they're visiting.

    You're overthinking. If you wrote the sentences above yourself, you're going to pass it without issue. As @Crazy Cat mentioned, you will get a simple question from civics test to write.

    This is pretty normal. Male from Pakistan, Applied Chemistry... None of those help in the eyes of US authorities. Not that he's done anything wrong, he's just perceived a higher risk.

    I'm sure in DS-260 you'd have to list employers, right? It's rare, but what if US immigration calls your employer to check you actually work there?

    It could have been US embassy staff in the UK calling from their landline. All speculation, of course.

    Yes it could have been a legit call from one of the US immigration agencies. You should have either let it go to voicemail or not hang up and speak to the person on the phone. Wouldn't your boss understand this is important matter? What to do? Have you tried calling the number? If nobody answers, wait for written communication.

I didn't quite follow this either: But I guess it's OK, we don't have to fully understand the reasons other than you're going to be away for over a year.     Not sure how paying loan requires you to be in the UK, as most of payments can be done online. Either way, you won't get the permit any time soon. So maybe sending it to the UK makes sense. I don't have personal experience with this. I can imagine you can reenter the US with valid GC and I-797 for the reentry permit even if it's not approved when you travel back into the US.

    How long are you going to be away from the US? For example, if it's only 2-4 months, I wouldn't worry about reentry permit. If it's 6+ months, then yes you may need it.

    How long are you going to be gone for? When you say you moved to the US, do you have green card?

    K-1 is a single entry visa. You got I-94. After authorized stay expires and you don't have pending I-485, you're out of status.

    How far are you from naturalizing? Why not naturalize first before taking trips to such destinations?

    Yes you can complete everything back in your country. If you get all vaccines your medical exam will be marked completed and you shouldn't have to do it again in the US typically. Or do everything in the US. Just don't do partial exam back home (not completing vaccines). It won't help as you likely would need another exam in the US.

    Seconding that. Credit card transactions get flagged for fraud all the time. If you read VJ, there's quite a few reports on this. Personal check is the king when paying USCIS fees. Here are examples
