  1. Pay for the green card when you get the passport back, don't wait till you get to the US. IV do not get a visa package, it is sent electronically to CBP. The embassies went paperless a couple of years ago.
  2. Ok, its been a while since my wife got her passport with her married name. Just take the old IDs with her and she will be OK. She will have the marriage docs. You can always send CFO an email and they will answer within a week.
  3. Did your wife need CFO to change her name on her passport. My wife did.
  4. My spouse has an interview on 25 Apr. Her name (peña) on her birth cert, AOM and marriage cert. Her NBI clearance does not have the ~ in her middle name. We asked NBI about this and we were told they do not put ~ on their paperwork. Will the USEM tell her to get an AKA, even though NBI says their system does not allow ~ on their paperwork.
  5. No one here can tell you what the USEM is doing. There are hundreds, if not thousands of us in the same boat as you. The USEM is quick to talk about how great they are processing tourist visas but will not say a word about IR/CR cases
  6. USEM, is terrible right now. No one (IR/CR) with DQ date of mid May 2023 until now has received an interview date. No one knows what the embassy is doing and they are not being upfront the interview status.
  7. No one but USEM knows what date they are working on. Waiting almost 8 months for IR1 and IR2 interviews.
  8. All those visas were people who were F cat then sponsor became USC or leftovers from Jun mass expedite. No new cases.
  9. Has anyone contacted the USEM lately about IR/CR visas. Plz post their respose
  10. Cr1/Ir1 cases with May 2023 DQ dates are still stuck at NVC with no movement in sight. Anyone get any info from USEM aside from the standard stock BS answer?
  11. I don't understand what the USEM is doing. The NIV backlog is cleared, so why can't we get Ir/cr interview dates?
  12. Here is some of what my doctor wrote for my NVC expedite request, Names have been taken out. Any chance this gets approved: I’ve been treating xxxxx (US Air Force Veteran) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) since 2012. He is rated 100% Permanent and Totally disabled with aid and attendant required, through the Department of Veterans Affairs and is on Social Security Disability Insurance. xxxxxxxx spouse (xxxxxxxxxxx) is his aid and attendant. She is required due to, xxxxxxxx being so helpless that he is in need of regular aid and attendance while not hospitalized at US government expense to help protect him from the hazards or dangers incident to his daily environment. His major symptoms include: Persistent danger of hurting others Suicidal ideation Near-continuous depression affecting the ability to function independently, appropriately and effectively Persistent danger of hurting himself Near-continuous panic affecting the ability to function independently, appropriately and effectively Impaired impulse control Current medications are: Lithium Carbonate 300mg x3 daily and Risperidone 2mg X2 daily
  13. I'm so tired of DOS still using COVID-19 has an excuse for these delays. It is just wrong that people can get tourist visas within 4 months and it takes 2 or 3 years for IR/CR visas..
  14. Its the lack of information from the USEM that gets to me.
  15. Another month andUSEM still not processing IR/CR visas. Applicants with DQ date of Mid May until now still cant get interview appts.
