  1. @AGF what questions did officer asked you and your husband in general about I-751 and what documents did you take with you?
  2. @AGF Congratulation! did it mentioned in interview letter that you would have combo interview?
  3. @scania & @ct38956 Looks like we all have interviews in Newark on the same day. Best of luck to you guys, what documents are you taking in the interview day? do you have a pending I-751? If you do have pending I-751, did the interview letter mention anything about a combo interview?
  4. Hi Everyone, I just received my interview letter today. It mentions that I need Selective Service Registration in the interview letter. 1. I am female 2. I was 27 years old when I entered the US. Do I still need to register for selective service? Thank you
  5. @scania when in September did you file N-400? I am in Newark for September as well. Do you have the combo interview with I-751?
  6. @Cal&So can you please provide your timeline for N-400 at the Newark office? I was looking online and just saw the interview for July filers in the Newark office. Just saw that you are an August filer and have an interview in the Newark office. Can you please provide a timeline as to when in August you receive the interview letter, when you have the interview etc? Thank you!
  7. Hi friends, i went to NJ DMV to transfer my out of state driver license. However, they said that they cannot provide me real id driver license with extension letter for I-751. They rather offered me standard drivers license without real id logo. I told them expired Greencard with extension letter is same as unexpired Greencard. However, they said that is what they have been doing for everyone who comes out there with extension letter and expired greencard. This was very surprising, anyone in the same boat in new jersey? thank you!
  8. @Crazy Cat I was wondering how would USCIS know that I moved to a new state on the 25th of May without presenting a document proof. I am not sure if I even need to show them any evidence of moving to a new state. As far as I understand that if one moves before filing N400 then the individual has to wait for 3 months before filing N400 in that state. What documents do I need to present to prove that it has been 3 months in that state or do I even need any documentation proof? Any enlightenment would be good. Thank you!
  9. Hi Everyone, Coming to this forum after a year. I have a quick question on N400 filing as I am sure you all are in the same stage of the application process. So I recently moved to a new state and I am confused about when should I file my N400 and what documents should I submit to show that I have been in the new state for at least 3 months, so here are some facts: So my permanent residency anniversary for 3 years rule is on November 6th, 2023 so I can file 90 days early so which means I can file N400 as early as August 8th, 2023. However, since I moved to a new state from Texas on 25 May 2023 so adding 3 months to the date would be August 25th, 2023. Therefore, I am planning to file after 25th August 2023. 1. Does this date look good, Am I calculating it correctly? or Am I missing anything? 2. What documents do I need to submit on my N400 to prove that it has been 3 months since my residency in the new state? I would appreciate your feedback, Thank you!
  10. I finished my biometrics today, wondering how long will it take for status to change online?
  11. @JenIE @OldUser thank you will keep you guys posted! FYI: They did give me date and time for my appointment. Hopefully I will get the e-copy soon and don’t have to walk in without proper documentation.
  12. I have requested a e-copy of the mail. I have not received it yet, they have said to wait 24 hours for me to get it in my inbox. I didn’t knew that I can walk up to the application support center with only case number. I would leave this question to someone to answer, this is indeed a good question.
  13. @OldUser I have been using informed mail for 6 years now. Usually my mail shows up same day if not next day. My informed mail has never taken 5-7 days to show up in this 6 years. However, I am waiting extra days out hoping it would show up. I am pretty sure the mail has been lost or was delivered in different mail box. As this has happened to me before. My mail was delivered to different mail box and the guy showed up in my place with my mail. Therefore, this is my 3rd day and I need to think what to do from here.
  14. @beloved_dingo no I have not done biometrics before. Therefore, I am thinking it is biometrics. As I got NOA a week before I got notification. Do you have a number that I should call? thank you!
  15. @beloved_dingo @sarge @JenIEit is actually my 3rd day today since I got informed mail notification. I have not checked my mail box today. However, I am planning on sending an inquiry today if I do not get the mail by EOD today from USCIS. Is there anything else I can do immediately to get the information about the mail today apart from sending a inquiry? (This is what I am planning to do if I do not get the mail by EOD today) I do not want to miss this biometrics appointment date and time. How long after they send the mail for biometrics, do you actually have the appointment for biometrics? Thank you!
  16. Is there a way we can access e-copy of the notifications. I am looking at my uscis online account and do not see any e-copy for NOA or Biometrics notice?
  17. @JenIE thank you. Yeah I have gone to USPS and they were not much help. They just said we do not have that information that mail was scanned in sorting facility. It could take up to 30 days for the informed mail to show up. I will wait until this week, hopefully it will show up. 🤞
  18. @OldUser I am not worried. However, I am thinking alternative. What if the mail does not show up? What can I do about it? Do I need to put in inquiry or call USCIS?
