I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section its been a long time since I have been on this website.

ok I came to the united states on a K-1 visa I got married went through the AOS then ROC and I am now a resident. not a citizen yet and haven't started the process of applying for citizenship but I believe I have waited long enough and can apply.

Well my friend in England (my home country) is getting married. I just looked at my passport before I booked my flight and it is expired! what do I have to do in order to get a new British passport? or can I get an American passport? I'm a little confused..

can anyone help me

hey everyone finaly got my NOA1 on 08/30/2010. Yes!!

can someone update my info. thanks everyone.

After a bit of drama with DHL, they traced the package and confirmed yesterday that it was delivered to the correct address and to ignore the tracker info on their website (really!!!). Anyway, the good news is that I just checked with my bank and the check has been cashed by USCIS

Hey all I had my biometrics 2 weeks ago..WOO!.. It was at 8 am and was a 2 hour drive, the traffic would of been a total nightmare so we had to stay up as close to the biometrics center as we could. What’s next on the agenda after the biometrics? I guess its just a waiting game.

I have noticed today that on the USCIS website

that the processing times for the EAD at Chicago IL have changed from 3 months to 5 what is going on?

I filed My EAD with my AOS at the beginning of May can anyone give me a guess on when I should get my EAD and AOS I’m just confused now i have seen the processing times change

Do these processing times even apply to me? is the EAD processed differently if you have applied for AOS?

I have filed AOS and for reniewal of my EAD

when I have been granted AOS and my new EAD what happens I guess I would be given a green card (hopefully) but what will happen after that will my EAD permit run out again and will I have to apply for something else like lifting conditions of my status?

I’m just wondering what happens once AOS is over any information would be nice.

I know I am looking a little far ahead but i like to know what will be coming even if its a long time away.

I came to the US on a K1 got married and filed

1. G-325a

2. I-864

3. I-485

4. I-765

I filed all of the above about 2 days ago

Was I meant to file the I-485 as well what is this I-485 i have been reading about i am getting a little worried did I do something wrong please help

I am 25 and have a K1 visa and I am earning way above the poverty level do i fill out the I-864 affidavit of support or does my wife who earns more than me?
