I can submit my I-751 removal of conditions from 10th February (my expiration date is 11th May 2025), however I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and due 3rd March.
On the petition form it states "provide information on all your children". If I submit the form before birth, do I just leave this section blank? I wanted to get the form and evidence submitted before birth so I have time to concentrate on getting it correct.

I really struggled with finding the correct information and got very confused. The Texas DPS website (https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/driver-license) can be hard to decipher and understand so I thought I'd write what I did to help someone else. I managed to get this done within 7 weeks of entering Texas (11 May 2023).DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR CLASS C LICENSE ROAD TEST-
Proof of ID (I used my passport)
-
PROOF OF LEGAL RESIDENCY - Endorsed I-551 stamped Visa or Green card
-
2 x proof of residency (I used a water bill and a bank account). If you're struggling with this you can use a Texas Residency Affidavit. The person you live with can sign this and give you their proof of address. If you are not married or related to this person they must come with you to the DPS office.

Impact Texas Drivers Certificate. This is a FREE 2 hour course found here https://impacttexasdrivers.dps.texas.gov/ITAD/
-
Proof of insurance and vehicle registration for the car you'll be using for the test. If you don't own one you can sign to attest to this.

Pass the written test - What I did personally is took an online 6 hour Adult driving course which included doing the written test online too. I would recommend doing this as its a good way to learn the signs and road rules of Texas. The test was pretty easy and was 30 multiple choice questions. I paid $28 for this through this website https://nationalhighwaysafetyadministration.com/.../texas...
The test itself was super easy. It took about 10-15 minutes and was mainly stopping at stop signs, turning left and right onto roads and parallel parking between cones.I live in Dallas and currently most of the DPS offices here for license applications and road tests have a 3-5 month back up. You can sometimes get lucky and snag a cancellation appointment but its stressful constantly refreshing the website. You can do your test at any DPS office in Texas. I drove 2 hours away to Wichita Falls as they had lots of quick availability. All DPS offices are appointment only, do not try to walk in. You book online through the DPS website I listed earlier. If you want to do your test privately with a driving school YOU NEED A LEARNERS PERMIT FROM DPS first. I got scammed $70 by a drivers school that did not tell me this and I found it really hard to find information on if I did need a learners permit. Don't make my mistake! You DO NOT need a Learners permit to do your test with DPS. It cost me $32 and your license is automatically issued after the test if you pass. You are given a temp paper License and get your official one in the post.I hope this helps someone else. -
Does anyone have experience with getting a Texas driving license?I've been reading https://www.dps.texas.gov/.../how-apply-texas-driver-license but I'm still very confused. Would love someone whose been through the process in the last few years, to explain exactly what I need to do.

For those that have interview dates 15-17 March, rail and tube strikes have been announced.
The 15th is looking to turn into a general strike day. This may cause issues with you getting to and from the interview and also for embassy staff.

Has anyone received their IL’s yet? I’m concerned I’ve seen no letter sent out since 12th January. Before now, they were quite regular in November and December for UK.

I’m getting concerned that I haven’t seen anyone in January receive a IL?

I've been waiting for the latest bulletin before updating, the good news is the review time seems to be down to 30 days.
Thanks for the responses, I think we stand a 50/50 chance of getting a RFE but I've got my fingers crossed for good news. I'd love to be in America by May as my good friend is getting married end of May. I'm so fortunate that the London Embassy is quick with interviews.

I'm already expecting a document to be rejected.....My husband hand signatured the I-864Z but electronically wrote the date. From my research on this forum and reddit, its about 50/50 chance of getting a RFE as they want the date hand written too. However, on no official NVC instructions or documentations does it state that. We realised the day after he submitted the financials, its very frustrating knowing we are likely going to be delayed a month now.

Thank you for the advice! I will apply for a new passport as soon as I’m back from my trip to the US next week.
-
My partner applied for my I-130 back in June 2022 under my maiden name as that is the name currently in my UK passport.
I wish to get my passport changed to my married name and get a new passport. Will this delay or mess up my visa application? Or will the visa need to be in the name I originally applied under?

I just checked mine
PD: 20 June 2022
PC Vermont
estimate: 5 months.
I don’t trust it. I saw someone post a screenshot for 7 June 2022 PD and theirs estimated 1 week.

How did he even manage to get on the plane with a expired passport?? These are the sort of things that the airline is meant to catch.

My husband applied on my behalf 20th June whilst I wait it out in UK. We're just doing the I-130 route, I've seen a lot of people posting about K3 and whether they speed things up, however we've decided to not try.
Fingers crossed all our applications will only take 6 months to process. It's only been 11 days and I already feel the mental toll of this journey. I can't wait to have the visa in my hands. My timeline is estimating my I-130 will be approved in April 2023 but I'm hoping it will be sooner.
Our Service centre is Nebraska at the moment.

Hi I've seen on the forums people mention that for the Medical exam, if you have depression mentioned on your personal care summary from your GP you need a letter from the GP stating you are not a risk to yourself and others?
I had a small period of depression almost 3 years ago now. I've inquired with my GP about getting a letter as I want to be prepared for when I have the medical (hopefully some point next year). They want to charge me for a private consultation to be able to write a letter on my mental health as its been 2 years since they've seen me. Is this necessary to get?

Hello,
I'm a UK citizen visiting my partner on an ESTA for 85 days. Whilst here, we got engaged and have decided to get married on 11th June 2022. I have a few questions...
1) Can we start the CR1 application the day after our wedding or do we need to wait to receive the marriage certificates? We are getting married in Dallas and already have the marriage licenses.
2) What is the current estimated time it takes from applying to receiving the visa to enter the US?
3) My flight home is 22nd June however I have heard people mention that you can apply for an adjustment of status whilst on an ESTA? Would this be applicable in my situation or would it be denied as it would look like visa fraud.
Kind regards.
