Okay I wasn’t sure, and wanted to find out some answers especially since I just read an article where they said just updating your address with USPS is not enough. You have to file the correct documents. Thank yall so much
So I wanted to post this and see what peoples thoughts were. I have a friend whose husband just got his conditions removed last month. I asked her if she reported their address change when they moved and she said no. It has been over 30 days. She also told me they have moved 3 times since before he got conditions removed and never updated their address, as well their co sponsor has moved and never updated their address. She said they won’t update their address because he can apply for citizenship in a few months.
is this going to be a problem for them?
Thank you so much for this. Yes I speak primarily to him in spanish, so from now on I will only use English. I also agree with watching stuff only in English. Thank you again for the tips
I just looked at the form, so my husband would file the AR-11 and I would file the I865 even though we live at the same address. And if the co sponsor ever moves then they would need to do the same. Let me know if im missing anything
Okay I’m a little confused and want to make sure I understand. So since my husband and I are married and moving together then he would file the AR-11. I am the primary sponsor but we have a co sponsor as well. So do we only need to file the AR-11 and not worry about the I-865?
Also we are moving to a new home at the end of next month. Should I upload the new lease and new utility bills in our names to our USCIS account? Or should I hold onto it for spare evidence?
So he knows a good bit of English from picking it up at work, and around our home and family. But he does not know how to write it very well or read it very well. As for speaking, he does okay but not 100%
My husband and I just filed the I-751 last month. He is eligible to apply for citizenship Feb of next year. I would like to know how should he go about preparing for it. He is starting his English classes in July. Wanted to know everybody’s thoughts on what can be helpful to achieve naturalization and not being too nervous about the test
My husband and I sent in our taxes from 2023 & 2024. We sent in the tax return because we weren’t able to access the tax transcript. If I’m able to get ahold of the tax transcripts should I upload them as well even though we already sent the returns?
Hey everybody I posted in the February 2025 filers but figured I would post here too since we got our Notice of Receipt on March 3.
Biometrics were scheduled on March 14
