The last notification we received was NOA2 in September: "All required applicant documents have been received and approved 12-SEP-2023". Based on timelines in Manila we expected my wife to get an appointment for her interview around mid-January but we still haven't gotten any news. We also do not see any updated timelines from Manila. Does anyone know if there's a delay for that embassy currently and if there's a way we can estimate when her interview will take place?
Thanks!

Hello,
We submitted the application in March this year and received the first NOA a few days later. We're waiting for the next step now.
The estimated I-130 Approval date was initially set for February 2023 most of this time but recently moved to May and then a week later to June.
Is anyone experiencing the same?
PS: We are married, she's in Manila and I'm in the US. Processing via Manila embassy. Luckily, I've been able to visit twice this year (since Covid restrictions were lifted)

Just to verify. I am going on April 1st. I will need travel insurance that states Covid is covered, my covid vaccination record, and a negative Covid PCR test? I am am assuming I will need to show all of these at the immigration booth when I arrive in manila.
That's correct, insurance that covers Covid during the dates you'll be there and covers up to $35k, vaccination proof and negative test. Don't forget to complete your One Health Pass and download the QR code.

I got Generali Global Assistance. It was about $70 for 2 weeks. I printed the part on their site that stated they cover Covid hospitalizations but no one asked or checked for that.

It should cover $35K.
Yes, 35k, sorry!

other than those and a return ticket back home, you will need travel insurance that covers $30k. easy to find and costs about $70.

I just re-entered the US yesterday and the rapid antigen test was good enough (and cheap). Got results within the hour (took it in the am and flew at 10pm).

Hi everyone.
I used this forum 18 years ago when I was a foreign citizen married to an American. We divorced/split up amicably 10 years ago and I then became a naturalized US citizen.
I met my current wife in the Philippines in 2017 while on vacation in Manila and traveled there to see her every 5 months before Covid. In January 2020, we became engaged and planned on marrying during the summer in Tagaytay. Because of Covid, that wasn't possible and we were apart for 2 years. In October of 2021, we got married online through Utah and I was finally able to visit her (and consummate the marriage) 2 weeks ago. I'm now back in California and we are submitting our I-130 petition soon.
I see posts from a few couples in a similar situation here and looks like we're all set to go. I will be posting updates about our progress.

Thanks, I just got off the phone with a wedding officiant in Utah that will do the on-line marriage for 100 dollars. I then deal directly with the Utah County Government, no middlemen or extra fees. About 70 dollars to Utah. Nothing to it! Yes, I have been reading very negative reviews on WebWed. They charge like 890 dollars for the same thing. Do it yourself for only 170 dollars! Research pays off!
Exactly! We didi the same and all went smoothly.
I-130 Interview Delay. Anyone currently waiting in Manila?

Thanks for your message. I guess it helps a bit knowing we're not the only ones experiencing this!
