  1. That's a good suggestion, but thank you!
  2. That's awesome! I actually just got mine like an hour ago. Hopefully everything else goes well!
  3. Unfortunately, her appointment was automatically rescheduled by the consular system. This is the second time it's happened, and it's now been pushed back to March 2026. It's really disappointing, but from what I've read, this can occur randomly and there doesn’t seem to be much anyone can do about it. Before you could log in to the visa site and check for random opening but I don't see that option anymore. If anyone has experienced something similar or knows if there’s someone I can contact, I’d really appreciate any advice.
  4. Opening up the topic for August 2025 filers. 08/01/2025 - Mailed to USCIS Eligin, IL Lockbox via UPS 08/04/2025 - UPS Tracking says package was delivered I sent the G-1145 E-Notification form with my package so now I wait for text messages or some sort of notification, aside from the receipt they should hopefully mail me soon.
  5. This would be her first time traveling so we are hoping for the best in this interview.
  6. Hi Everyone, My Grandma who is widow, will have her visa appointment this month in Honduras, Tegucigalpa. She does not work but has a house in Honduras, lives alone but does take care of her grandchild (only stating this in case she has to mention it?) She also does not own a bank account. Trying to help her prepare on what she needs to take -passport, DS-160, fee was already paid, and photo was submitted during application. Aside from that is there anything else she should take with her? What questions or information should she be prepared to answer? Seems like almost no other documentation is required (different from other visas) but just double-checking! Anything helps! Thank You
  7. Hi, Thank you for getting back to me! I hadn’t seen a notification that someone had responded, so I appreciate you following up. I really appreciate the reassurance and the advice—it’s very helpful!
  8. Hi everyone, When my wife and I entered the U.S., she was granted a two-year green card because we hadn’t been married for two years yet. Her green card will expire three months before October this year, which is when we plan to file for the removal of the conditions and apply for her 10-year permanent residence. We’re planning a trip to Honduras soon, and I just want to make sure we have all the necessary documents for her to re-enter the U.S. Based on what I've read, she should be able to travel with her two-year green card. We'll be taking her green card and Honduran passport, but I was wondering if there are any other documents we should bring to ensure a smooth reentry to the U.S.? We will be staying there about two weeks. Makes me a bit nervous, so I want to make sure of everything we need! We are planning to travel in May. Thanks for any advice!
