  1. Just updating here my experience for others, I was pleasantly surprised that my SSN arrived yesterday, 8 working days after my arrival in the US on CR1. I selected for it to be auto-generated on the DS-260.
  2. I just called them and asked for a tetanus booster and explained I needed MMR for immigration purposes. They didn't take any blood tests as it doesn't hurt to be vaccinated more than once I guess. It's all Visa medical would do anyway, but charge you for the privilege!
  3. Most of my records were missing also. If they can't be proven you have to get the vaccines again. I got MMR and tetanus on the NHS, so I only had to pay for Hep B and a blood titer test for chickenpox on the day of the medical. Might be worth going that route than paying for all the tests first.
  4. I could be wrong but I thought you could only reschedule once the original interview has passed. You only have to activate the visa within the 6months of your medical, not necessarily actually move, although you should be out less than 6 months from that date. Just a thought.
  5. it usually takes about 24 hours for it to show up. I had the same. Try tomorrow. And yay!!! Congratulations. When's the interview for?
  6. Everything says submitted. There is no different status, but looking at the above, you should now be in the queue.
  7. I had 6 month's notice to give. I took a risk and resigned after USCIS approval and planned to visit if I didn't have it by then. I ended up transferring with work but still served 5 months notice, wish I got the break I planned now as I landed here on Sunday and started work at 7am on Monday. Haven't unpacked yet! 😆
  8. Just to note they are currently giving 4 year extension letters when ROC is filed and by all accounts they give those out pretty quick once filed, but avoiding ROC is also not a bad thing so I hear.
  9. I once read that some of the online filing places ask for SSN and some don't. I think it was Turbotax that allows it? I'll try and find out again.
  10. I think you use this for NVC. I didn't track it until after my interview to be honest. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx
  11. Have you tried sending an enquiry to the embassy?
  12. Did you recieve a 221g piece of paper telling you exactly what they need? Your profile shows you are applying for EB-1 visa, but this looks like a spousal visa (CR1), is that correct? If so you need to provide all original prior divorce decrees as should have also been uploaded to NVC before you were DQ'd? Your husband should not need new copies, just send you the originals of those?
  13. As I understand it you would need to have resident status in the UK to apply for DCF at London. If you're in the Netherlands and have EU status I assume this would no longer apply to UK since Brexit?
  14. I would suggest calling Visa Medicals and they should be able to advise.
  15. Hopefully the police certificate will arrive soon. Visa medicals will likely charge £40 for the blood titer test to confirm childhood chickenpox if it's not in his medical records. If he hasn't already gotten his patient summary I suggest he does so. I had MMR, Tetanus Diptheria & Polio, and HepB in the course of 2 days. Not going to lie that wiped me out a bit! All except Hep B I'd had as a child but couldn't prove.
  16. Medical was base price £370, then I had to pay for one vaccine (Hep B) and a blood titer test for chicken pox. All in came to £480. You kind of speed date 3 different medical professionals. They cycle people through in different orders, I saw the vaccine nurse first who went through my vaccine history etc and agreed the shot I was getting, then I went to chest X-ray, and finally to the Dr who made me undress the top half, wear a gown, went through my medical history, poked and prodded me all over, took blood pressure and also drew bloods for the tests. I wasn't with any of them very long, with around 5 mins waiting in between seeing each of them. I think in total I was there less than 90 minutes. When I add in the travel and hotel costs also it was not a cheap day 😂 I managed to get a tetanus booster and MMR on the NHS a few days before luckily so that saved me quite a bit. Did your husband's police and birth certificates arrive?
  17. After the interview is scheduled. Not sure how long that is at your consulate?
  18. Together. 🥰 And it means so much to me. How is NVC stage going? Are you DQ'd yet?
  19. Thanks!! Can't wait to be there. Hubby arrives a week on Saturday to help me move. I'm nearly ready. Eeeeek.
  20. It was also labor day last Monday which will add to to the time. hoping you get it soon
  21. @Dashinka out of interest, what sorts of things would need to be declared?
  22. Thanks for the response. We're too far away from 2nd wedding anniversary. I was one of the fortunate ones who managed to get approved with everything in 11 months. I had my visa before our 1st anniversary!
