Welp, I did it. I took the last steps of getting any movement on my case today.

First, I called USCIS, said "INFO PASS" and waited about 10 minutes for an agent. When I finally got someone they couldn't hear me. So I took my earbuds out and called again. Only this time the agent couldn't hear me. I made a phone call to my mother before USCIS and my best friend after and both could hear me just fine.

    I swear.

Second, I was advised in our Whatsapp group to ask Emma for a LIVE CHAT through the USCIS website. The agent was no help and told me that because I submitted my 'outside of normal processing time' inquiry less than 30 days ago I cannot inquire again for 30 days. She also reminded me what USCIS has responded to the inquiry, telling me to wait the 45 days. I tried to plead with her to get a tier 2 agent or supervisor but no such luck.

Lastly, I emailed the ombudsman. If anyone needs to do that here is the link: https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman/forms/7001#no-back

You fill out a form and submit attached documents pertaining to your case. Took me about an hour to get everything prepared, you can tell they want you to get frustrated and give up, just like any government agency. See it though. To the bitter end!

So that is it. I will keep you guys posted if I hear anything but I am done. I have to be. I am losing my damn mind over this more and more with each passing day.

Asking for all the thoughts and prayers!!! Thank you!!! 🙏❣️

Good luck! You did everything you could! I will pray for you, and for sure, you will receive good news, its only matters of time 🙏🏼

Hello everyone. This is my first post here but I have been silently reading the comments and wanted to say thank you everyone. This group has definitely offered some comfort knowing we are not the only ones waiting and trying to be patient. We got our NOA1 on October 25th and still waiting. I agree with others that its hard to still wait on ours and see case numbers above ours to get approved. Hopefully not much longer 🤞🏻

Hi! Im also October 25th, lets keep our hopes high. This week can bring us the noa2 😊🙏🏼

    If anyone is interested.

It seems that USCIS is picking up steam. after slump in July, in August USCIS is almost on levels from 2021 (see blue bars => those are closed cases). They are even closing old RFEs (red bars in old months are finally getting smaller) .

On the second screenshot, you can see only NOA1 cases from past months up to September this years. Sadly trend of leaving people behind continues, there are still significant number of cases that are left open in March, April, May.

Well after 14 months we got an update... says RFE was sent to us on Sept 8th and waiting for it to arrive..

Do I have much to worry about? How much will this delay the next step and does it decrease chances of success??? I'm Canadian, she's in US and it's a pretty obviously real relationship.. just stressful and depressing.

I honestly think it's likely that we didn't submit the full divorce degree for her previous marriage it's about 32 pages and we did the front and back pages thinking it was enough but upon reading stuff I think maybe that was the issue... Hopefully whatever it is. Is an easy fix..

First time I've been truly scared and worried for our future, just didn't expect this and makes me really stressed.

Thanks for any info.. wish I could know what it was.. she will keep checking mailbox.

Dont worry, in a couple days the petitioner  will receive a letter(email) explaining what docs( or whatever they want) from you guys. Lately they are sending tons of rfes, its SUPER NORMAL.

it could be anything, like the intent of letter intent, more pictures, flight tickets, etc.

As Im seeing, it delays the process in one or two months after your answer.

but for real, even an rfe is a good thing, they touched the case and its matter of time! :)

    (Un)Happy Friday Everyone!

Today we got a big day of garbage from the USCIS! A total of 16 Approvals across May, June & July.

This week the USCIS touched approximately 589 Cases, a bit of a drop from last week. Unfortunately, we have a holiday weekend coming up, so it's possible that USCIS workers took a vacation early. Due to Monday being off, I don't have high hopes for next week either.

    Today's Updates:
    106500 - 1 Approval, 1 RFES (2 new / 0 in progress)
    107000 - 1 Approval, 3 RFESs (2 new / 2 in progress)
107500 - 2 Approvals, 1 RFES, 1 Other (Case Was Transferred to Another Office) (2 new / 1 in progress)
    108000 - 4 RFESs (4 new / 0 in progress)
    108500 - 3 RFESs (3 new / 0 in progress)
    109000 - 2 RFESs, 1 Other (Name Was Updated) (2 new / 1 in progress)
    109500 - 3 RFESs (2 new / 1 in progress)
    110000 - 2 Approvals, 1 RFES, 1 RFER (3 new / 1 in progress)
    110500 - 2 RFESs (2 new / 0 in progress)
    111000 - 1 RFES, 1 Withdrawal (2 new / 0 in progress)
    111500 - 2 RFESs (2 new / 0 in progress)
    09/02/22: 33 Total Updates: 6 Approvals, 23 RFESs, 1 RFER, 1 Withdrawal, 2 Others

Stay strong everyone! No Labor Day weekend slump can hurt us, after everything the USCIS has already put us through!

Agree with you! One more time all we can do is be patient 😩

I'm not sure how true this is, but I read that they wont start on July until there are only 500 untouched cases left in June.

Right now June has approximately 1,750 untouched cases left.

I went back and looked and there was an update of almost exactly 250 NEW cases on each of the weeks of 8/1-8/5 and 7/25-7/29.

So they touch about 250 NEW cases per week. It will take them 5 more weeks to get down to 500 untouched cases left.

I estimate around the week of 9/12-9/15, we will start seeing July updates.

It may be sooner that that, as the more April and May cases that are getting wrapped up, the more they can focus on June, so maybe in the next few weeks there will be more than 250 NEW cases touched per week.

Or maybe it will be later than that, because as we all know, the USCIS is run by a group sloths, riding on the backs of turtles, that are on vacation.

One thing I know, is never try and predict the USCIS. They may decided to skip July and go straight to August, because why not!😂

    Lol

I really appreciate your infos. In fact all we can do is wait (apparently forever).

    thank you so much

I think you’re being real extra for no reason. @Etherial never claimed to have owned the numbers. He asked @Optimist19 a question. You’re an October 2021 so I understand where your frustration is coming from but there’s no need to throw subliminals and caps lock in a forum you don’t even belong to. @Etherial and @DSBeijing are our original May filers that have been posting our daily/weekly updates since the beginning. @Optimist19 adopted the daily script updates from an April filer, @Xiaova, and he has been welcomed in doing so. He is a June filer and has humbly accepted feedback and suggestions from May filers so that all groups are included even if they are groups that overlap. No one asked him to stop or said that the numbers belong to a certain person. You can be angry at the system, or the officials you’ve elected to office, but all our updater deserve our respect and warmth. Thanks for reading ☺️

I totally accept  your opinion! And I ask you sorry.

the system it’s terrible of course, but I really think that together, we can turn easier.

I agree that they deserves a lot, and I sincerely appreciate, but there’s things that I dont agree. And isnt because Im not an June filler, its because everyone is free to give their opinions and share infos. Just that.

thank you for replying me ☺️

Nathalia I am not sure where all this is coming from but let me inform you that here we do NOT compete with each other who is posting what.

I am talking with Optimist in pms and have been trying to see why we have different numbers, which is odd.

We are looking into it cause there is no official source of this info. All apps are unofficial and might be faulty.

I personally have ALL of may cases added 1 by 1 in my android app as "my cases" and check them twice a day and then compare to ios app charts. Optimist is running a script. So any of the irregularities might be the apps or the scripts error.

As you said, you dont have the time to do this. Well some of us are doing this for over a year now and the only reason we correct each other is to locate mistakes. We are having a conversation comparing our data and you come in here very aggressive for no reason.

Now regarding the Facebook groups, as far as May is concerned I am managing the group for 15 months now and not even 1 person offered to help with the May excel when I have asked several times. I am spending 3 x 2 = 6 hours daily to check and double cross check numbers with optimists and others before posting them since wrong info confuse people. Some ppl even say that we make up those numbers so we want to ensure whatever info we give are right before sharing them!

As far as the June groip is concerned, people in June take the midday reports (which are incomplete) and share them as day reports in that group and moreover, there are 3 different June excel sheets people run which only leads to confusion and people asking whats the right numbers.

So before being so aggressive towards me try doing the numbers for 1 day to check how difficult it is to double check and have more than 1k people asking about them. I have kept doing so and will continue guiding the may group to my knowledge up to our green cards (hopefully) although my case has already been approved cause I like to help others who might have limited knowledge or dont know how to look for info.

If you dont like the info we share or how we choose to do stuff you are free to look info in other places but dont judge

Not gonna take this long cause as I mentioned I was talking with Optmist19. And trust me, I wasn’t being agressive at you, at least nothing different than what you are used to do with ppl on things you dont like.

course you don’t remember but You already was rude towards me, towards to other ppl in May group, when someone asks something and you respond “ it’s already pinned, nobody reads, i will close the comments, dont post this, i have the numbers, stop asking for ranges” in fact, not just in Your Group, but in June. I saw it. I was there lol.. and honestly nobody cares about your attitude. Cause we are all adults and was supposed to be a group to share infos. But whatever.

Good u mentioned me to “go find another place to have info” and guess what? You were also here asking for ppl no share cause was different from yours. Let ppl do their thing! lol.

I appreciate your efforts, but this dont gets you the power of what should be posted or not. When you owned everyone’s freedom of speech?
Not gonna answer more cause this takes time  that both of us no have. And remember its just a phase, in couple months all this was be nothing but a moment :)

Hopefully it wasn't by too much...I'm wondering if some of them got updated twice (I know this happened before). If you end up with different numbers for the 22nd, let me know and I'll double check on my end what's going on.

Ok, let me talk to u Optmist19.

    Please continue posting the updates!
I understand that sometimes theres numbers + or -. Obviously it depends of what time u guys checked. I dont long participate of the may group on Facebook due this Major thing of “ u can’t share the updates, just me cause I have the numbers “ and that extends to other groups like June.  I personally dont fit in that conception. And based in all the chats with the fiancés, I can guarantee you that most part of the fillers wants to know its if the USCIS is working or not and have an approximately idea of the numbers done during the day.

Cause obviously we check upon or cases regularly or even everyday.

If people really wants to know THE REAL FINAL and exactly numbers that was done, they must run ALL THE MONTHS, because all them have rfe denieds or expedited, and sure some random approvals.

So please Optimistic19 CONTINUE doing your incredible part!

I have no time to do this, and I really appreciate all the work and time you demand on this, It helps a lot with the anxiety that EVERYONE IN THIS JOURNEY FEELS.

and once again NO ONE OWNS THE NUMBERS!! And all the info shared is HELLA WELCOME.

You have all my support. Thank you for your attention!

For us pending K-1 filers only one line there is important right now:

    I129F for K-1 Visa

    CSC: May 23, 2021

This means that the California Service Center, where nearly all our submissions will be adjudicated, is (approximately) processing forms that were received on May 23, 2021. Otherwise put, USCIS is has a backlog of a little over13 months.  There are folks on this site whose forms were received before that date who still don't have an answer and a (very) few from June who have received a decision.

It is our fondest hope that the USCIS promises in March to reduce this backlog significantly by next year will come to pass.  Unfortunately, there is as yet no evidence that they have made any progress.

Thank you so much for clarify. Lets continue hope for the best
