    So it’s not guaranteed?? They can say on the day of interview you are not eligible ?? first they have to wait for ROC interview … just to have the info when my letter comes what I should do

    Hi everyone filing this weekend. Just to be prepared if they ask about the day not present in USA .. I have one cruise trip to Alaska where we deboard Canada in Morning and came back same afternoon to the ship .. does this count as a day out of USA or it was a USA bound cruise, so it doesn’t get considered as a day of absence in states ? Do I have to mention it or is it still considered as presence in USA

    Hi , I have my green card extension letter that they sent while I was applying for removal of conditions … I m Travelling this month out of the county and be back in 2 weeks … is it risky ? That extension can be questioned or they can deny anyone … no criminal background or past issues .. !!

    Hi did u end up filing I-130 for your parents ? What is the time line and what’s the interview wait looks like in Mumbai ?? ( I guess they do those only in Mumbai for I-130 )

    And after this the case goes to NVC and they have their time frames .. to review documents and case creation. regardless which country the beneficiary is from . ??? After that they will send the interview date ?

    Hello I am planning to file I-130 for my mother abroad . I see the processing times at all service centers is 15.5 months , but they are also showing field offices and other offices which is like 60 months . Which processing time I should expect if my mom lives in India . My guess is aos and other forms are processed at local offices but the relative not in USA should be following all service center processing ???? Please help

    No I am asking coz pretty soon I will be doing same for my mom .. my question is does the financial condition of son matter or the beneficiary has to be shown too or beneficiary’s matter

    You are a savior … yes now it got it how 90 days work I was doing exact 3 months . Thank you !! I think my biometric might be skipped as I m reading .. I applied for condition removal in start of the year and it’s pending

    Hello, my 90 day period starts Nov26/24 . No rush to file it then but the actual 3 years complete 26 Feb 2025. Have plans to travel abroad for 20 days in December … does is violate any rule of physical presence ??? During 3 year tenure ? Or will have to come back and wait extra 20 days after feb 26/2025? staying at same address for one year and will be staying there for another one year for sure !!!

    Your visa stamp in passport is green card till you get your physical green card … n you won’t have Canadian passport right after the oath .. u will be given citizenship certificate .. which you use as a document for applying Canadian passport .. .

    Can someone move this post for me to b-1/b-2 visa forum in india from here .. where I can get connected to people who recently interviewed in India . M unable to find that thread .. also if anyone can advise if we forgot to attach saving account statement with ds-160 can we ask the officer in interview to check the updated statement missing in the application .. to have a look or give it to them .. coz the form was submitted in the starting of this year and if we update now the interview moves to 375 days from now again then

    Heard from a friend .. they ask you for a reason if it’s genuine an honest mistake they don’t give you any problem . They treat it as a normal .

    Received the letter today with access code . And also updated it to account says biometric appointment scheduled !! Wondering why it doesn’t say they can reuse mine like many other people I see here . !! ??
