I’m in the same boat! NOA 2 04/03, received 6/15ish, no case number on last inquiry (inquired last week, responded today) We should be close hopefully

Yeah we are same timeline then. I hope we get good news soon

Finally 'In Transit'. I got a message form NVC that my case was being transfer to beneficiary's US embassy. Transfer is suppose to be on July 4th and 5th since 4th is a holiday. I think they mailed the case today on July 3rd. 

Good to hear. At least you have the case number and are one step closer.

We have also sent an email to NVCResearch@state.gov and they replied:

"The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems."

They didn't say much, when or how long will it take to get a case number. But at least it's there and I don't have to worry about it. How long till they get it in the system, I honestly have no idea but I will give them 10 days. 

I got the case number yesterday. My NOA2 is April 4th. They also changed my embassy as I requested in the inquiry. Now waiting for them to send the case to embassy.
Does anybody when to start filling DS160 form? Can I do it before they ship to the embassy? 

Yeah and unfortunately the same response saying they received but not processed

I got the "we have it but it's not in the system yet" email yesterday.

My fiancée received an email today letting us know that our case has been mailed to the embassy in Montreal! Our NOA2 date was April 4th. I’m not sure exactly when the NVC received our case, but I’m guessing the first week of June.

Hi @Mart_Cy, I empathise with you. This process is not easy at all. First thing I would advise is to check the CEAC status of your case: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx
you will need your case number here. Then fill out the DS-160 form asap. You will need the confirmation page for your consular interview. 
Also start gathering the evidence you need for the process, as listed here.

FINALLY, I got the acknowledgement that my case has been received by NVC. I think my case arrived last week just like other members here with similar dates. My noa2 was April 04

thats great news.. My NOA2 is April 24th,,, hopefully im not to far behind you.. or could be even in your batch that was sent.. great news any how..

After 70 days, case finally on way to NVC.
 
Only took congressional rep asking USCIS to get some light at the end of this very dark tunnel

This gives me hope. My NOA2 is March 28. Going to submit another inquiry. The last one I did was over 2 weeks ago.

I understand the frustration, but asylum seekers do not get to vote. Not even permanent residents can.
 
Let’s not label a group of people as villains to make this them vs us situation. I am sure there are people that think K1 visa couples are trying to commit fraud and take job opportunities from “real Americans.” 
 
If we want to express our frustration, direct at the people actually involved in making the decisions.

I sent an email inquiring about our petition status on June 4 and received a reply this morning that the NVC has received it! Our NOA2 was April 4th.
