  1. Hi, I would say definitely take proof of the name change and marriage certificate etc. In terms of logistics, if you can, park in Westfield (Shepherd’s Bush) and then walk to the White City underground station and take the central line to Bond Street. The tube ride takes about 20mins according to Google Maps Westfield is paid parking, I think it’s about £9 if you are there for 2-14hrs and about £6 if you are there for an hour. Good luck!
  2. Sorry to hear this, have you tried to raise a public enquiry with the NVC? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html?wcmmode=disabled . Best of luck
  3. Yeah go for it! It needs to be filled out by the beneficiary and it requires a digital passport photo. I think it takes about 90mins to complete if you have all the information to hand. Make sure keep the confirmation letter (print it/get an email copy for printing later) once complete. Also maybe get the petitioner to raise a public enquiry to get some more information about your case. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html I’ve attached a photo of the NVC shipping dates: the next CEAC statuses to expect are “in transit”, “ready” (when you petition has reached the embassy) Also the embassy in Liberia might not know anything about your case, as it hasn’t reached them yet. Might be worth joining the January approvals group if you haven’t already https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/794121-january-2023-k1-to-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy/#comments Good luck! I hope you get some movement soon!
  4. Hi @Mart_Cy, I empathise with you. This process is not easy at all. First thing I would advise is to check the CEAC status of your case: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx you will need your case number here. Then fill out the DS-160 form asap. You will need the confirmation page for your consular interview. Also start gathering the evidence you need for the process, as listed here. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html#1 Last question were you contacting the embassy in person or via public enquiry?
  5. Yeah, I completely understand... Wishing you peace, comfort and good news
  6. Hi @Mr.So our NOA2 was 06th April. Not sure when they received our case, we asked the USCIS when they sent our petition to the NVC and they said that they sent it when it was approved. But I'm not sure if they are being entirely honest with us... Have you joined the May approval group? Sorry I don't know how to create the link for you here.
  7. We received a response to our email... the NVC has received our petition!! Hoping you all hear something very, very shortly and we both wish you all many blessings for the future 💛💓💜💓💚
  8. How exasperating… glad you’ve had some progress! Many blessings for the future 🥳
  9. Hi there, mine took about a month. Not sure if it is because there were THREE bank holidays in May, but I applied around 25 April and got it around 25th May. I’ve heard you can contact them via email customer.services@acro.police.uk if it is urgent , but I’ve never tried this. Good luck
  10. Thank you for providing such a comprehensive account of your experience. I wish you and your spouse all the best for the future. Other than immunisation records, what else does one need to get from their GP? also was it quite easy to book an appointment in terms of availability at visa medicals?
  11. Nothing here I'm afraid. Others in earlier groups (Dec - Mar) are also still waiting. Have you contacted the USCIS to see if they have shipped your application to the NVC? Maybe you might have some good news 🤞
  12. except that living in limbo is not funny. I don't understand why it takes 90 days to process/prepare to post something. Do they need me to fly out there and help them??? Bunch of soup sandwiches 😡
  13. We decided to try and take the advice @PakistaniRussian gave the March NO2 approval group (see screenshot below), my fiancé phoned the USCIS today. We spoke to an agent who said they will request for our petition to be sent ASAP and gave us a request referral number. We were told that if we don't hear anything back within the next 30 days (🙁) we need to phone them back quoting the referral number. A bittersweet update, but maybe if enough of us do it they might move faster?
  14. Logged in especially to see if there was any news for you! Congratulations so happy for you!! 🥳
  15. Congratulations on proceeding to the next step and thanks for the info! Apologies, but what does CDJ mean?
  16. So sorry that this is incredibly difficult, please know we are all expectantly waiting to celebrate with you once you get your NOA2 @Bh_sarah and everyone else waiting ❤️‍🩹
  17. So frustrating... but glad you have finally heard something. Hope everything goes faster from here on out
  18. So yesterday we got an RFE notification and then today they turned it around and we got an approval!! Maybe they made a mistake yesterday? So thankful to God either way... hoping everyone's approval is just around the corner!! 🥳
