    Hi, can you guide me where you found the instructions to submit an expedited request? I applied for everything in December and it says it's currently being reviewed (no update since February) and I am going crazy unable to work. Hi, when did you submit? Also, did you get an RFE?

    My file says that reviewing is in progress for all three. I'm getting so frustrated as it's been 6 months now and it seems like others here who applied in January are getting their approvals or even their interview dates!

    Wow, that's insane. And to be 100% clear, you applied fro 485 (adjustment of status)? I'm so jealous and bewildered.

    WAIT, no way, you applied in February 2022 and got the card end of March? I applied in December in California!!!

    TWO YEARS? That's insane! Everyone told me 6-9 months? I'm in California... English is my first language so I don't need to learn it at all but that is a very good use of your time!

    Did you have any RFE? I filed late December, got a RFE right away which I submitted within a day and haven't heard back since! Dying to start working or at least go to Canada to see my family. I'm in LA.

    Thank you for your input! Their RFE was so bizarre - they asked for documents already 100% submitted in the original package. I have read on these forums that it is a natural thing for them to re-ask (probably their error)? I wasn't adjusting from any other type of visa, just my K1. Thank you for your kind words!

    Thanks a lot. I'm 36 and English is my first language so no need to develop more skills there! I also worked in a very general field and plan to do so - I wish I was in a more specific discipline so I can learn or take a course on that for my future job! I've already ran a marathon but yes I exercise daily although I used to do that even with a full-time job! But yes, for non-runners, I would really recommend picking up working out/running!

    Thank you! Ugh, I have a very general skillset to apply for my next job. I wish I was in a more specific area like computer programming so I could really develop skills in a specific area. I do workout basically every day and learned some video software skills but I wish I was your husband~!

    I'm late to this topic but I'm Canadian and came to the States in December, got married in December and waiting for AOS. How did you rationalize your decision to go back to Canada while you were waiting for your AOS approval? I really want to go back to Vancouver (where I'm from) but am so scared of the repercussions of doing so while I'm waiting for my EAD and AOS to come through??

    I'm getting frustrated waiting for my AOS approval and just want to assure that I am not realizing something that everyone else here is. Do people really NOT work for those 6-9 months it takes for your AOS to be approved? I applied for my EAD with my AOS in December 2021 and it says the case is pending. So how do you spend your days? Legit question. I have tons of hobbies but not being able to work and not being able to go back home (since I don't have my advance parole) is very frustrating. Seems like a silly question, I know I know. I've waited months to ask it for that very reason.

    Thank you for this info. We filed in Dec. 2021 (in Los Angeles, CA) and had biometrics shortly thereafter but the interview or any progress is still TBD. Am I understanding it correctly you filed in January 2022? Ugh, I'm in the same city and a month before you and haven't heard anything since the biometrics. Congratulations though on your progress! Not sure if this is typical but I got my biometrics before the RFE

    I applied on Dec 27 and had my biometrics really early in 2022 but since then, radio silence. Have you had an update on your case yet?
