Ah - same day? I just rechecked my physical NOA1 and the received date is actually the 17th; I guess I got confused because USPS had said it was actually picked up the 18th and I had been going by that, ha. I will submit an inquiry right away then, at least I'll have that in. Thank you!

I submitted one the day before it was officially “out” and got a regular response so you might as well try! Good luck!

So to be abundantly clear: we can only submit an inquiry when our NOA1 received date is the day before the date listed on USCIS' processing times, and not the same day, correct? After what happened last week, I just want to get one in already.

I'm also thinking it's necessary to contact our representatives, not in hopes of having things moving along, but just to make it abundantly clear that processing has stopped entirely. It's not even that they're going back and catching up on old dates, it's just stopped. I agree with everyone, not only is it really disheartening, but it's really unfair they chose to do this to all of us without updating times or having a reason why.

Yes, I believe it’s same day. Processing hasn’t stopped though - last Wednesday they processed 60+ cases. They are just behind in their stated processing times ie. my NOA1 is Feb 26 and going by their times I should have my NOA2 by now but I don’t. They are going back and processing early Feb cases, like Feb 1 filers. It is very disheartening but hopefully they manage to catch up in the coming weeks, or else the average wait will be 8 months plus

Is there a specific time in which we may submit an inquiry to our representative? I'm aware that their intervention can't really do much, but my fear is a repeat of what happened a few days ago; i.e., the inquiry date moving to March 18th and then reverting 5 days prior, preventing March 18th filers and beyond from ever being 'outside normal processing time'. I feel like it's at least worth a contact to let people know the March filers have been effectively stalled, I wouldn't be this disheartened if it wasn't for literally all of us being just let off here without a clue...

Feb filer here! Just checking on where March is at. I have a feeling they will change the estimated time to much longer, as now it’s clear that to catch up they will need to move much, much faster. :(

Hi all...first post here. I've been tracking this thread for a while now and decided to finally post. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that's helping create the spreadsheets and monitor the cases, it's really helpful :)

We submitted out case 02/11 and I submitted an inquiry October 24th. I got a RFE notice yesterday which I don't know if I should be happy or sad about. I'm glad they finally got to our case, but I was really hoping for an approval 😕 I know every case is different, we submitted photos, plane tickets, letter to marry, etc, so I'm really wondering what else... but I guess we'll see.

To those who haven't received anything yet, hang in there! It's around the corner.

Hi! I’m sure that feels disheartening, I’m sorry. I think it’s a good thing - once you know what they want are able to submit it (could even be that you forgot to check a box!) you will probably be approved fairly fast. Now you know they are looking at your case and it isn’t just lost/sitting there. Good luck and stay positive!!!

Yeah, yeah. For you than it is the same date. I have send my inquiry couple days after just because I was depressed with generic reply and today I’ve got answer. Generic.

It sucks for everyone. Waiting is killing us and I went thru similar processes because 7years ago I’ve got Green Card thru Lottery and it was waiting, waiting and so on.

I also got this! NOA1 26th. Inquired on 25 Oct and received this notification a few days later..very annoying as it doesn’t say much.

If you’re talking about what I posted in the other thread, I’m still trying to confirm March 5 was actually the NOA1 date and not the Notice Date; but still, I wouldn’t worry if I were you because, as someone has pointed out before, they typically do half the month before moving to the next. From what I’m gathering, this right now is a bit strange because they just avoided processing *any* March cases for weeks, but I’m sure everything will be fine. Good luck!

No, I saw it on a Facebook group! But that makes sense, lots of people are confused with the 2 dates. So do you mean they usually begin the next month but continue to process at least some of the current month as well? Thanks for your help btw!

Today whilst "working" I have created another chart for the data from last week to make it easer to see the case ranges they are processing.

As you can see most cases processed last week was in the range from 53500- 54999 then with a few older/newer ones added in.

Sorry for all the graph spam but hope it helps people to have a clearer picture of what's going on :)

Can find this graph as well on the spreadsheet which will tell you how many have been processed in each group if you're interested in the actual numbers of each.

Thank you so much. This is really helpful and helps to calm my nerves that my case isn’t being “left behind”!

Updated the Chart today. All days 30+ cases processed and even had back to back weeks of cases being worked on Saturday!

Ignore the Monday 8th Nov due to that not being all cases for today added yet so expect that to be higher next week.

As ever all this can be found on the spreadsheet that Gail and Derrick have linked

Thanks for this! Out of interest, why were August and September so low??

Thats good news, certainly frustrating to hear different things from the USCIS. Not sure what to believe now!

Hope she managed to give you some good news :)

Edit: Also just realised we pretty much have the same timeline! Wishing you all the best!

Oh yes we do! She didn’t give any news, we had already submitted an inquiry online so were just seeing if they would say we aren’t out of normal processing time. Last night I got an email with a very generic reply saying they can’t give a timeline. Again, not disputing that it is out of processing time. So stressed about this and hoping for an update soon!

Yes, I agree, it could just be this 1 employee giving wrong information.
I think it should be NOA date vs Date of Receipt, that should kind of give us a better understanding, if you’re looking for the ones that received their NOA 2 for Feb

Not sure if I’m posting correctly but I just called and enquired about my case, NOA1 Feb 26, and she said it was outside normal processing time without me even prompting.

Edited to add Feb 26 is the listed “received” dats, the notice date is in April.
