    Thank you all for the helpful advice. I believe my name being fairly common was most likely the cause. I just received my tracking number today.

    Thank you for providing the update! Unfortunately even though my CEAC status says ready and my email is correct I haven’t received any information on tracking. I did not have to submit any extra documents when I was approved either so at a loss in terms on how to contact the consulate in terms of retrieval of my passport.

    Hello, I wanted to ask if there was a step you did after your interview to receive your passport back so quick? I’m still waiting on my tracking number and have already signed up for courier service. Is there anything that I may be missing? also did you receive your tracking number through email or phone. appreciate any feedback

    I’m so happy for you! I was also approved on Jan 4th. I had a quick question, have you received your passport back in the mail yet? I opted for courier delivery service to my home and am still waiting on a tracking number.

    Hi all, I had a question regarding police checks and health screening if anyone is able to answer: 1. I’m living in the states on a TN visa and have been living here since Dec 2021. My interview is on Jan 2023. Would this mean I need a police check from the U.S as I would’ve stayed here for more than a year? 2. How many hep B shots would you need to be considered fully vaccinated for the health screening. I also wanted to know if this was an invasive process or not. Thank you all in advance!

    Received today. January 4th! does anyone know if you can get your flu shot vaccine and Covid vaccination (which is required for the health screening) in the U.S.? Or do all vaccinations need to be completed in Canada.

    I have been DQ’d since August 23rd. Is there anyone from that timeframe who has received their interview date? I am past 10 weeks for waiting and wondering how much longer it will take to receive an interview date. Hopefully not much longer.

    Hello, I am a canadian citizen married to a U.S. citizen. I am currently in the U.S. on a TN visa (work visa). I went through the green card process and am currently DQ's awaiting my interview date. My concern is that in the last 5 years I have travelled to Turkey and to Iraq. Would this raise alarms? Are you allowed to travel while going through the visa process? I went to both countries once in the last year. Any advice and feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Can you explain what is AP? And are others experiencing a long time with getting their passports back?

    I’m currently married to a US citizens and am residing in the US on a TN visa (work visa). I am DQ’d and waiting for my interview date at the Montréal embassy. My question is, after the interview, does the embassy hold onto your passport? What if I need to get back home to the US or even toronto, how would I travel if they hold the passport for two weeks. Would I have to stay in a Montréal hotel?
