My NVC case number was assigned yesterday! (NOA2 Dec 6)
 
I spent an hour calling today and finally received it. 

Approved!  
Got it today, December 15th.  
NOA 1 was February 5th, response to RFE was received November 15th.

Yes, you can start calling after 2-3 weeks for the case number

I got one early November, sent my reply and they received it Nov.15.
I knew I would get one though since I didn't send in my birth abroad certificate.
 
I'm waiting now and hoping it's enough.

Hi everyone! So thrilled to say we just got approved! NOA1 Feb 26, no RFE. Sent an inquiry on October 26 and received a very vague reply saying it was pending with no timeline. Just want to give hope to people with similar responses that it will happen! The past 2 weeks have been incredibly hard waiting, but keep the faith, it will happen soon!

I just got an approval this evening! NOA1 02/25/21. Yay!!!

NOA2: Nov 16th
 
I was frustrated because my noa1 was feb 1st and whenever I saw someone posted that they got noa2 but applied k-1 after us, I almost cried. 
Hope things are getting faster to everyone!!!

Yup, think you need to wait for it so you can see what you need to send.
 
I know some people had an issue recieving in the post before so they had to call up to actually get the USCIS to send their RFE electronically. 

I received my RFE in the mail three days after it got posted to the website. So it should come quick

We are so excited we got approved today!!!!!!!!! We just got the notification and we are beyond excited.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but I just checked and our case has been approved! NOA1 was February 3rd. I'm soooo excited!
