Got back from Manila with an ear to ear smile. I just bought my Doc's certificate and all of my medical results and showed it to the physical examiner. I didnt have a problem at all. I went there at 2:00 pm and was released around 5:00 p.m, thats the best time to go there...no crowd.
So for those who have the same issue, just be honest and prepare your medical stuff and give it along with prayers. You will be fine.
congrats!!!!

Ok so my husband called USCIS 3 times today following the RFE trick instructions. Here's what happened -
First Call - The person who got his call didn't even know that our case was approved and told him to schedule an appointment with the local immigration office.
unbelievable!
Second Call - The guy he talked to said that our documents were sent out to NVC on April 23 which is... TODAY! 5 weeks almost... ugg
Third Call - The guy he talked to again informed him that our case has been sent to NVC today, April 23 (we're still in doubt though not until we get our case # from NVC).
Btw, before he called USCIS the 3rd time, he contacted NVC first to verify if they have not received our docs yet, to which NVC confirmed that they don't have it yet...
Anyways, due to frustration with the process my husband decided to call NVC again on Friday just to check if they got our docs. I mean, they might not knowing everything is screwed up already but there's no harm in trying and it's always best to do some further verification rather than wait for them to contact us.
All of us who got approved from CSC should keep our fingers crossed for now and hope all this will be better once our papers reached NVC. Keep on praying. God Bless.
try calling NVC on monday u may get your MNLcase number.

Our papers just reached USEM March 28 and we will be calling for interview appointment Monday or Tuesday next week. We will probably be asked to choose dates on months of May or June and i am kinda leaning towards May schedule. I just want to know if there are others who have May interview schedule already. I hope we could keep each other posted.
May God be our constant guide.
Sandra had her medical and must return for sputum testing. So she will not be having her interview on May 12th. She will not get the results back for 4-8 weeks. I pray it comes back negative and she can have an interview in June or July.
praying for her too... sorry for the delay

My wife and 13 year old step-son were interviewed today at the US embassy in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and were approved. They were scheduled to interview at 1:30. My wife was fingerprinted immediately upon arrival and then had to wait about 5 minutes before being called to the interview window. The questions were all the typical ones you can find on VJ in the K3 guide section. The CO then asked for some pictures, looked at a few and had some questions about them. The interview took about 10 minutes. My step-son was then asked to the window and was asked a couple of basic questions. They called my wife to the window once again for one final finger print. She returned from the window with a big smile and I knew our dream had finally come true. We'll pick up their passports/visas from the embassy next Tuesday.
CONGRATSSSS

hey everyone,
I have a question, Is CFO important I mean do they really need it?
jenn
if the beneficiary resides in the philippines yes it is a requirements. u can have your seminar either in manila or in cebu.

I DID THAT TO AND WAST 18 DOLLARS BUT THEN I GOT A EMAIL FROM THE NVC SAYING IT HAS FORWARDED THE STUFF TO THE EMBESSY AND TO GIVE THEM 15 DAYS TO GET THERE SO I WILL CALL BACK IN 15 DAYS.
u can only call USEM when u have your MNLcase number from NVC. In my case my husband called in NVC operator told him to wait 1 or 2 weeks consulate office got my documents. Then that is the time u can call USEM to check if your documents is there in their database. If it is there they will give you month and days u can schedule your appointment for u choose is most convenient to u.

Hi everyone. Glyn and I are new here. Posted for the first time yesterday ( in the wrong places mostly
).
I can't believe it took us this long to find others going through the same craziness as we are. I just wish I had found it sooner. We part way through the whole process, but this place is so chock full of information, it would have been such a life saver at the beginning.
Anyways, just wanted to say Hi'ya.
welcome to VJ

On my packet they never say i should pay doc. verification that's why i am so shocked when im in the USEM after my interview they ask me to pay 650p for doc. verification and 250p for visa delivery fee really confusing a lot and now it's been 3 weeks past by and haven't have my visa yet...
That documents verification can cause refusal?
i think it won't cause refusal as long as your documents are all true.... document verifications affect only to the people got late registrations of BC and some other errors to your original documents u submitted to USCIS, NVC or USEM ----- it will only cause delay but not refusal of visa
-
hello guys!! congratulations to all of you who had your interview, dont worry guys theres no way but there! and that is getting the visa soon... keep the faith!!!
i had my interview and it went well too... said just wait to have the visa delivered...
congrats to all who have done their interview
and to those who are waiting for their visa be patient if u waited for the long process of the USCIS how much more in few weeks to have your visa. Goodluck

congrats to eds wife and kat....... have a safe flight

When your I-129 and I-130's are approved, you will get an NOA2. This will say that your paperwork has been sent to the NVC. The NVC will send you a letter saying it has been processed and that they have sent it your respective Consulate. The Consulate will then send you Packet 3. When you send back the checklist and paperwork that the Consulate asks for, they will give you an interview date.
In summary, you won't get your interview date until after you've sent back Packet 3 information. You've got a little while before that happens, so hang in there!
i agree
but i heard that there is a new regulation here in phil. that the beneficiary is the one that will call the USEM for her interview sched
u are correct as long as u have MNLcase number wait 1 or 2 weeks the beneficiary needed to call USEM to check if their application in their datebase. If it there then they will give u option for the month and days of interview u like to schedule for yourself.

she had her medical last week, and all went well, and now she got the pink slip at the embassy. she is excited to get out of manila and back home...and then on to america soon
she said several people from VJ here recognized her at the embassy....i guess our large picture in our signature gave her away
to all you others still waiting out there, best of luck, and may you have as quick and favorable journeys as we did!

so that you can keep track your application to the USCIS sign up @ https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and when uscis approved your application they will send you the approval noticed and forwarded your documents to NVC for verification after 2 or 3 weeks u can call NVC hotline 603 334-0700 Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (EST) and if u have your MNL case number wait 1 or 2 weeks call USEM to check if they got your application and if the have it u can right schedule your appointment then. I hope that will help your confusions.

Does anyone have any views on this? Should the CFO seminar be done before or after the interview? Any positions for why it should be done either way?
before and after approval.
before u can only have certificate but if u do it after your approval u can have your certificate and u can have your sticker too before your can leave your home country. goodluck to you
-
In everything give thanks for it is the will of God to those who are called according to His purpose....God is good all the time and all the time God is good!! Adjustment of status
in K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
just wanted to know about AOS from K3 to immigrant visa.
1. If a k3 holder is in USA are they allow to apply adjustment of status to be an immigrant right upon her arrival in the US ? Or the K3 holder have to wait when is the time to file an immigrant visa?
2. what are the procedures and how much is the payment?
