God is good! Finally card is being produced. It’s been almost 3yrs without EAD! I can’t stop crying. I went from having EAD and working for 2yrs to not being able to work for 3yrs. God is good! I applied for i765 & i485 in Dec 2022 Sent in expedite request in February 2023 (received the receipt notice in February) Expedite request approved in April 2023 Card is being produced May 2023. I’m still waiting for VAWA approval. 3yrs and counting. And the processing time just went up again 😔 Thank you guys so much for your encouragement when I was really down. You have no idea how much it helped me. God bless you.

I’m crying so bad. God is good. I just got this today. I’m in shock. Thank you guys so much for your encouraging words, I really really needed them, i was in a very bad place mentally. I know this isn’t even the EAD but this is the first good news I’ve gotten in so long. God finally answered me. I’m praying that this is the start of good news in my journey and for everyone of us.

I’ve gotten prima facies. I got the last one Dec 2022. But that does nothing for me. I don’t even qualify for Medicaid. I just want EAD so I can work. I just want to work and earn money. I’ve tried expediting with letters from work. Submitted expedite request in March 2023 so I’m just waiting. I even included the letter from my doctor with my medical bills. I’m truly exhausted.

First one in 2020 was for good moral character. Second was in April 2022 - evidence of marriage. Responded within 2 weeks for both.

I did. But the i485 & i130 got denied. It was reopened after my first lawyer filed an appeal. My second lawyer that filed my i360 submitted that i485 receipt with my i360. I applied for EAD renewal twice and got denied, I never got the denial notice, my lawyer might have gotten it but he didn’t share with me. Apparently the initial i485 could not be used as it was denied and even though it was reopened after the appeal. I only just found that out in Dec 2022 when I used a new lawyer to file i765 again. So I had to file a new i485 & i765 in Dec 2022. I’m still waiting. I’m just sad that this could have been avoided if my lawyer has cared enough to look at the denial notice and informed me about filing a new i485. I’ve been unable to work since 2020, I’m depressed and I can’t even talk to anyone because not a lot of people understand this process. I have health issues now, I was diagnosed last year 2022 and I can’t even afford to pay for treatments, I’ve been having to pay out of pocket. I’m so tired. I’m so sorry if it feels like I’m ranting, I just needed to let this out.

Hi everyone I filed i360 in feb 2020, rfe in April 2020 and I replied. No action till April 2022 - another rfe and I responded May 2022. No action again until Feb 2023 - Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It. And nothing again since then. I’ve done ombudsman and Congress and still nothing. Pls what else can I do? I’m out of my mind at this point. I’ve been unable to work because my lawyer did not file i485 and I couldn’t get EAD. I just want my VAWA approved so I can start working and move on with my life. pls what options do I have, what else can I do to get my VAWA approved?

That’s what I thought too. When I look up the previous i485 that was initially denied and reopened, it still says case is reopened. I applied for i765 in 2020 and another in 2022 with that i485 and both got denied. I just filed a new i485 and i765 in Dec 2022 and I’m waiting for the receipts # so I can try to expedite my EAD. I really pray my i360 gets approved asap. Oh thanks. I’ll do that right away. Hopefully that would do something. It’s been 2months and no receipts yet.

Every time I try to call USCIS about it, they are unable to give me any information because I have no receipt #. I’ll try the senator for my i360. I live in Texas. I just started the application process and I’m trying to put my documents together. Thank you.

Hi guys! i could really use some encouragement right now. i filled my i360 in Feb 2020. I had my i485 reopened after it was denied in Jan 2020 and I thought all was good. I filed for renewal of i765 in aug 2020 through my lawyer and it was denied in feb 2021. My lawyer didn’t give me the notice or tell me why my i765 was denied. My ead expired Nov 2020 and I have been unable to work since then. Meanwhile I got RFR for i360 in April 2022 for proof of marriage which I replied to and was received in May 2022. I applied for i765 again in aug 2022 and filed to expedite as I had medical bills to pay and I still had no ead to work since 2020. In Dec 2022 I got another i765 denial and this time I got the denial notice and finally found out the reason it was denied. Apparently the i485 I submitted was not valid because it was initially denied before it was reopened after I filed an appeal. The denial notice said to file another i485 and i765 which I did immediately in Dec 2022. I have still not received the receipts for either i485 or i765. I have no job, no husband, no family and a medical condition that I have to treat. I’m so frustrated. There’s been no movement on my i360 since May 2022. It’s 3yrs already this month since I filed my i360. I want to work and earn money and pay my bills, I need to start medical treatment as soon as possible. I just feel alone and I’m honestly tired of crying. I tried ombudsman and congresswoman but they just came back with the background check answer. I’m trying to apply for Medicaid through the Prima facie but I’m not sure I’ll qualify. This is so hard, I’ve cried, I’ve prayed, nothing is working. This isn’t life.

Hi everyone! Pls how soon will I get an update or approval after USCIS receives my response to RFE. I’m a Feb 2020 VAWA filer. I received RFE in April and responded back and it was received by USCIS May 2nd. I’m really anxious and I would like to know the average time for an update after RFE has been received. thank you.
