Finally, yesterday after 439 days (1 year, 2 months, and 3 days)... we got our NOA2!! Our RFE was on 7/11 so 23 days total wait to approval. We are so happy and relieved!! One step closer to being married. To anyone still waiting, hold on to hope!

Just updating for anyone interested, we got our RFE notice in the mail today (it took 1 week exactly) and the only thing they need is passport photos of me (the petitioner). We did send the one required originally, but I'm thinking something was off with my photo specifications/proportions, as I know they can be picky. Anyway we're sending it back tomorrow and hoping for a quick turnaround! Hang in there everybody!

Thanks for the response! We don't have the notice yet, we only just found out via the USCIS app. I'm really hoping it is closer to 30 days, but I know it can vary a lot!

Hi May folks! After 417 days (NOA1 May 20, 2021) our case was finally touched... but we unfortunately got an RFE. We are extremely thorough people so we're honestly shocked and very curious as to what else they need. It's hard to celebrate this news, not going to lie, but we are thankful to have some sort of next step! I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Xiaova for diligently updating this forum and keeping us informed about the numbers! Does anyone know about how long it will take for an approval once they receive our additional evidence (whatever that is)? Thankful for this community!
