I dont see anything wrong with what the manager did... IMO airlines should have a flat fee plus a graduated weight calc to determine price because of the increased fuel usage and added wear and tear on equip....they charge by the lb for luggage over a certain weight dont they? If the service being performed or the IMPACT of the customer on the equipment is different because of size/weight. there should be no problem with charging more.... as the guy said.. just post the policy... or when you see a biggin heading in the door say sorry the chair cant handle your oversized frame.
In my example I would have to may more for me than Thuy but if it costs the provider more for me then I should have to pay more... why should the provider have to absorb added expenses because I am bigger...

Title IV does not protect USC's for weight discrimination.. There is no protected class for cows... If there is a medical condition she could potentially be deemed disabled by a doctor and could be considered a protected class member...
The manager is right in what she did, just wrong in how she did it... She should have told Bessie up front that the equip cant handle a huge load like that and she needed to charge extra to offset the damage/ wear and tear on the equip.... I would have said heres your 5 bucks fat azz.. dont come back.... The manager only needs a sign that says fees may vary based on impact on equip. its a nail salon not a ferrier service!

I don't know why people are outraged. The cat is fine. The owner said he thought it got in there itself until he saw the video. It's just a cat people! It's not like she threw a child in there!

Cannabis is something that grows in the ground. It's illegal because of some profoundly tricky maneuvers that went down some decades ago, but it's one of the most harmless altering compounds you can ingest and many states are working to recognize that, both because as an intoxicant it's incredibly safe, and because it has real, major benefits for a lot of people that are legitimately suffering.

How to address it? Well since the petition is already filed, addressing it in question 18 is out of the question.. IMO that is a really good place to address it... As was just noted it can be mentioned in the timeline, but the timeline isnt usually accepted until after the application got hit with an initial blue slip (kinda late huh?)
You should be working on a detailed timeline now just in case they request it... have it noted in the initial part as it explains the beginning of the relationship,... also be sure to prepare a list of her relatives in the US along with contact info for them...
She needs to be able to clearly, consistently and effectively explain at the interview how you met.. They may ask about the circumstances a few times in different ways. at this point the best time has passed, and it boils down to how she interviews and what the initial packet looked like. Often times they dont pay much attention to the evidence submitted at the interview unless there is some doubt in the CO's mind... If you make a big issue out of meeting that way, the CO may think its a big issue as well... focus on the strength and quality of the relationship in the evidence... the big picture is about the relationship as a whole... Be sure she knows everything about you... EVERYTHING... Thuy was expected to know answers to questions my own mother could not correctly respond.

I'd take the first one if it were offered. Then if the second one comes through I'd apologize to #1 and bid them adieu.

2. Ban 16th birthdays, at a minimum, go directly from 15 to 17. We can also eliminate 13 because it is unlucky
